Staff Selection Commission conducted the Shift 1 exam of SSC CPO Paper 1 2024 on June 28, 2024. According to students, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The Reasoning paper was divided into Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. A total of 42-43 questions were asked from Verbal Reasoning and 7-8 questions were asked from Non-Verbal Reasoning. Weightage has been given to Coding and Decoding questions. The level of these questions was easy. The English and Quant papers were easy. The General Awareness paper was moderate.

According to SSC CPO exam pattern 2024, the exam paper carried questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The duration of the test is two hours. Q:   How is SSC CPO merit list prepared?

A:

The merit list for the SSC CPO 2024 Tier 1 Exam is prepared based on candidates’ performance in the CBT and in accordance with reservation rules. It will include the roll numbers of candidates who qualify for the PST and PET. The PET/PST is qualifying in nature. Candidates qualifying the PET/PST are called for Paper 2 exam. The final merit list is prepared based on the performance in the Paper 1 and 2 subject to the candidates qualifying the PET/PST, document verification and medical exam.
