The Institute of Agricultural Sciences, one of the most prestigious agricultural college in India
Placements: I have done under-graduation from this university in 2017 and some of my friends have got placements in private seed, and fertilizer companies. However, the placements after the post-graduation are much more but, most of the students get placed in government jobs like agriculture officer and many other posts at village and panchayat level.
Infrastructure: The campus of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences has all the facilities necessary for an agriculture institute. There are a separate seminar hall and an institutional library. The hostel facilities for boys and girls are present on the university campus. Being a agricultural institute, we have a big farm for agricultural research purpose and vegetable research as well.
Faculty: This institute has one of the finest professors and faculty members. The course curriculum is strictly followed as devised by MHRD. The faculty ensures timely completion of the courses. The course is more practical based than theory and could be considered to be interesting to the students having roots in villages.
Other: The Institute of Agricultural Sciences is one of the most prestigious agricultural colleges in India right now, after IARI & Pantnagar. The institute is situated near the famous Vishwanath temple, also known as Birla temple, which provides a very soothing environment for studies.

Government clearly mentioned it needs ICAR. Though non ICAR students may get private jobs but it's better to do agriculture in ICAR approved college.
And for msc non ICAR students we're not allowed to write state exams(AP, TS).The same case with some other universities too.
