A satisfying package of study, enjoyment, memories, exposure, and quality.
Placements: Applied microbiology course in BHU provides placement opportunities in various microbiology based industries as well as labs. However, most of the students do not want to work in industries in the early stages of their careers, so mostly they go for higher studies and research. Different companies which hire students from applied microbiology offer a stipend of Rs. 15,000-20,000. Most of the students from here qualify the CSIR, NET, and JRF and opt for PhDs.
Infrastructure: BHU has a big and green campus. The entire campus is enabled with 24X7 Wi-Fi facility. It has 6 institutions, and the science institute has very well-equipped labs and buildings. The major attraction of BHU is VT (Vishwanath temple) which attracts Indians as well as foreign tourists. It has a huge central library along with individual departmental libraries having all the required books and papers. The college has 3 cricket grounds, tennis courts, volleyball court, and football ground etc. BHU provides good freedom to a student so that he/she can expose and showcase his/her talent on a large stage.
Faculty: The student to teacher ratio is huge. Teachers are well qualified and very interactive. They try to support the students as much as they can. They make the students aim for competitive exams, and they teach in a way that helps students to fulfil their goals. Students do not require any training here. Their references are also very useful for further jobs and studies. They are ready to give knowledge and exposure.
Other: BHU conducts various fests, and they also organise departmental fests. The Institute of science has its own fest named Aakansha fest. They celebrate most of the festivals in their own style. Students here receive several state and central government scholarships as it is a central university. The government offers many scholarships for the students studying here. BHU provides the environment to the students to study as well as to involve in many extracurricular activities.

Other: University is indeed one of the best university in India. But I have to mention that the course I graduated in that is bioinformatics is not up to the university standard as we did not have campus placement. I did not have option to select bioinformatics above so I selected Microbiology. As bioinformatics is growing its scope all over the world it is necessary that this subject should be taken care with better Infrastructure, teaching method and faculty as well along with the facility of campus placement and make the department of world standard. The system, infrastructure, environment, facilities are all up to date.

Definitely good college for learning.
Placements: There are many roles which are offered in my course. They are Food technologists, Food Chemist, Interns in the food industry, Beverage tasting, Tea tasters, Microbiologist, Dairy Technologist, Quality Managers, Nutritional Therapist, Regulatory Affairs officers, Product/Process Development Scientists, Technical Brewer, Chefs, Research scientists, Biochemist, Home Economists, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well organized with proper ventilation and good furniture. The library has a Wi-Fi facility and tons of books to read. Food quality in canteen and mess is up to the mark. The college has very large grounds to play volleyball, football etc. Apart from this, we get transport facilities, cafeteria, Internet centre, and so on.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Most of them have PhD degrees. The semester exams are quite tough, but if students focus on daily class lectures he/she can attain good marks in exams. Teachers take class tests at regular intervals.
Other: I chose this course because this course has many scopes in future. The college conducts a fest for 2 days every year which is very enjoyable. Students from low-income backgrounds are supported with scholarships every year.
