The college is well designed and well maintained.
Placements: Approximately 75% of students enrolled in my course successfully secured placements. The highest salary package offered is 14 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary package offered is 3 lakhs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Reliance, and Tata Communications. Around 50% of students got internships. The top roles are telecom engineer and network engineer.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are very good and decent the infrastructure is is good. The classrooms are neat, and the labs and library are clean. The wifi facility is available for all staff and students. The canteen food is good; the canteen provides many popular dishes. The playground is available.
Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified. Our faculty is strict and has very good knowledge and they explain well and clear our doubts. They will help us in our exams. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. 64% is the pass percentage.

Review by Aditya Agarwal.
Placements: The placement in the college is decent. Almost 80 percent of students who sit for placements got placed. The highest for ECE was 58 LPA last year, and the average was 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Samsung, NVIDIA, etc. Some people also got internships.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and use smart boards. The library has updated equipment as well. The library is one of the largest in Jharkhand, with a variety of content available. The hostel rooms are equipped with proper internet.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and friendly, with proper knowledge. The teaching quality needs to be updated. The curriculum of the first year is not relevant, according to me. The semester and quiz exams are of moderate level, which tests the knowledge of students.
Other: I chose ECE because I thought it would boost in the upcoming years, and it has good scope in the coming years. Some things need to be improved according to the industry's needs, such as making it more practically oriented. The events are very good, like Pantheon and Bitotsav.

Good College, although not so satisfied, but on average everything is good here.
Placements: Placement season for the year 2023-24 was deeply affected due to a recession. Only 74% of students were placed. Although apart from this year, the average placement is around 95%, with the average package being around 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deshaw, Qualcomm, Adobe, Intel.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are extremely small, and the quality of food is also not up to the mark. There are limited canteens and a limited variety of food outlets inside the campus. There is a very nice sports complex which has almost every kind of sports arena. There is also a medical dispensary free for students. There are Wi-Fi labs, AC classrooms, and an average-sized library which has a good variety of books.
Faculty: Teachers of ECE are quite arrogant, all have Ph.D. degrees, and have good knowledge. This course helps prepare students for the industry. It covers all the important topics. There is a specialized VLSI Design Lab, which helps to master VLSI. The semester exams are very tough; it makes students sharper, as a decent amount of hard work is needed to obtain a good score in exams.
Other: Electronics and Communication Engineering have a lot of scope in the future; there are plenty of good job opportunities. Apart from that, one can also go for jobs in the IT sector too if being in this college. There are mainly two fests that occur in BIT Mesra, One is the technical FEAT Pantheon, and the other one is the cultural fest Bitotsav. The Fests are good; many food stalls are set up, and popular singer artists and speakers are invited. The campus is really beautiful, covered with large lush green trees and a variety of flowers everywhere. There is transport facility available for students; buses at regular intervals go from the campus to the main city and come back too; this facility is free for students.

All about BIT Mesra Patna campus .
Placements: The placements this year weren’t good at all. The average package was around 5 LPA, and 20% of the placed students are in marketing and sales. However, last year’s placements were much better; the average package was 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi facilities everywhere. The library is also huge and contains a lot of useful books and materials. There's an e-library too. The hostel's infrastructure is not that good, but it has 24/7 medical facilities. The food in the mess is also nice.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful and well-educated. They help a lot. All our doubts are solved by the teachers. The course curriculum is good, and its syllabus is similar to most of the NITs. The semester exams are a bit difficult; if you don't put in an ample amount of effort, you will face problems passing the exam.

Dissatisfied due to the placement here.
Placements: Upto 40-50% get the placement in the IT domain and just less than 10% get the placement in the core domain. The highest was 20 lpa, the lowest can be 3 lpa, and the average will be 8-9 lpa. Nvidia, Infineon are some of the companies. Only 20-30 get the internship in the core domain and only in startup companies if available.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, and all the labs with good equipment are available. Also, the good software that is used in my branch is available to use here, like Sentaurus, Silvaco, and more. ECE lab equipment is present. Hostels are decent and food is also decent. They are not so bad.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful, only if you are interested. You need to go and ask them about what you can do better here by exploring your interest. The course curriculum is a little old school here in ECE, as you have to follow the book for proper understanding and knowledge. You have to put extra effort to become ready for the industry. You need to improve your skills first, then only you'll be confident and ready for the demand of the industry. The semester exam is difficult here because the questions asked are conceptual.
Other: I was keenly interested in knowing ECE, that's why I have joined. Freedom and more student activities could be done. Two main fests are available here: one is cultural and the other is technical. The crowd is there, and the college is situated outside of the city. Scholarships are provided based on academic performance. There are many clubs here for extracurricular activities.

There is no specific reservation for female category at BIT Mesra. There is a chance of getting Biotechnology and Chemical (Plastics and Polymer) at BIT Mesra. For other branches like ECE, you may consider BIT Patna or BIT Deoghar campuses.
