There's no book as such The best way to prepare will be to follow NCERT and read them thoroughly for all subjects. other than that you can also take help for practising from various reference books for all other major entrance exams. You can also refer study packages from various coaching institutes

According to the placements and infrastructure both stands at the same position.
But still LPU is better due to healthy environment. A peaceful decorum is necessary for personality development which is necessary with a good degree.
So go for it.

Some colleges of IP University take admission through AIEEE ranking. In the university only 15% seats are reserved for outsider’s means for them who pass their 12th from outside Delhi.

It is quite difficult to say that 396 is a safe rank to get admission given that you are from general category.
