One of the best placements, infrastructure, surrounding etc. So I will say work hard for JEE.
Placements: The batch size of the 2023 chemical department is 147. The highest package is 47 lakhs, the average package is 17 lakhs, and the lowest is 7 lakhs. The top recruiting companies for chemicals are IOCl, BPCL, ONGC, and Reliance Industries. Almost 40% of the students got internships in our branches, like CRODA, Everest Carbon, and Shell.
Infrastructure: As I am in my first year, I am exposed to physics and CS labs only. And they are the best labs, and the staff is very supportive. Wi-Fi speed is best in classrooms, mess, and libraries. But in hostels, we have to apply it outside. Classrooms are well structured; there is a podium and projector screens. The central library is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Sat-Sun). The reading hall is open 24/7, where you can go and study, but in the reading hall, books are not available. In my hostel, i.e., H-16. There are washing machines and one water purifier on each floor. In the hostel, there's also a mess where you will get breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Almost all kinds of sports facilities are available, and you will get chances to participate in inter-IIT sports, i.e., competitions. You will get awesome medical facilities available 24/7 that are free of cost. Even the medicine given by doctors is free of cost.
Faculty: Honestly speaking, faculty members are a bit boring, but they are well qualified. They do not give their 100 percent to teach the students. They just go by the slides that they have copied from any book. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. End terms are very difficult, but midterms and quizzes are durable. In CS 101, out of 700 students, 55 fail in math, or about 51, so about 10 to 12% of students fail.
Other: Based on my rank, this was the only branch available for me in IIT Bombay. However, there are some areas that could be improved, such as the quality of professors. IIT Bombay hosts Asia's largest fest, Mood Indigo, and it's also exciting that a big celebrity visits the campus every week. There are some additional benefits, like free messing for SC/ST students, remission of fees, and women merit-cum-scholarship.

One of the best decision that I took ever.
Placements: Placements are decent in IIT Bombay. Last year the highest package was 3.67 Crores per annum by Janes street company. Average package was about 21 Lacs. Almost 100 percent of students got placed who have applied for it. From Chemical engineering, about 75 percent students get internships in different companies like brain and company, Dr Reddy etc. Top roles offered are Food inspector, Senior engineer at Petroleum extraction unit, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very nice. The classes are well-equipped with ACs and high-speed Wi-fi. Labs have very high level and expensive equipments. Library is so large and very beautiful with alot of books and references to read. Hostels have nice facilities like automated washing machines, RO water etc. Mess food has alot of variety and it is good to eat.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent and have very high qualifications. If you are really interested in the course, then they are very helpful. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry ready. The exams are on the higher side for difficulty. About 90 percent of students get passed.

Take the course, only if you like it.
Placements: 80% of students were placed in this course. The highest might be 24 lpa, and the lowest around 12–13 lpa. The top recruiting company for this course is HUL. Around 50% get internships in random companies and just 1 or 2 in HUL. The top roles are R&D, research fellowships, etc.
Infrastructure: There are classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, and canteens. The department building seems quite old and the infrastructure is a bit outdated; otherwise, it is good. The boys hostels are not good with poor infrastructure and limited space but the newer ones are better. Food quality degrades as the days pass.
Faculty: Personally, I don't like chemical core, but some professors are really helpful. The course curriculum is okay and the department council is trying a lot to make the students industry-ready. Exams are tough, at least for me. The grading is absolutely absurd.
Other: I wanted IITB so I went with chemicals. I don't like anything about this course. I wish the pros stopped the harsh grading. I would have been happier if I was in a different course, maybe. Events and festivals are really fun. Crowds and seniors are really helpful in every aspect.

Overall, IIT Bombay is great!
Placements: Placements are definitely something to be looked at. Placements here are great and have been experiencing largely unaffected growth in packages. The highest package offered in the institute is a whopping INR 1.5 crore+, and the average goes up to INR 21 lacs per annum, which is a great number. As far as chemical engineering is concerned, the average package goes around INR 18–19 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Hostels here are great to live in. The hostel experience is really memorable for any student. All hostels have 24/7 Wi-Fi access and connectivity. Hostel mess food is also far better than that of other colleges. Also, the hostels are quite safe and secure from the perspective of a girl student.
Faculty: The faculty here is great. All the professors are highly educated and skilled. They are very punctual when it comes to lectures or assignment submissions. The courses here are a bit tough, but they are worth studying. Though one may feel that the curriculum is outdated, it is important to study its origins.

All About IIT BOMBAY - The Dream Of many JEE aspirants.
Placements: IIT BOMBAY has a great placement record with many packages over 1 crores +. But it doesn't have 100% placement due the fact that many students gets PPO from internships they do, some gets in with their startup, some go for higher studies like Ph.D. M.Teach, Research, etc. Some also do MBA, UPSC after graduation.
Infrastructure: The quality of facilities that we get here are amazing, ranging from infrastructure of courses includes Wi-Fi, amazing and comfortable benches, smartboard, AC, etc. Also the hostel infrastructure is also amazing, it has everything you would require as a student. The quality of mess food is also pretty good with decent balanced diet.
Faculty: The teachers here are extremely qualified and knowledgeable. They are mostly research, Ph.D. pros with plenty of detailed knowledge about the course they teach. The teaching quality is also pretty amazing with presentation, ppts, one to one interaction, doubt clearance. The course curriculum is very much industry and application oriented. Though the exams are difficult to pass, but you can score pretty well if you are a regular learner.
Other: I chose this course I have a deep interest in Chemical, Chemistry Physics from my JEE days. The best things are labs & industry visits. I think the core courses are very much, so maybe they can be decreased. You probably SEE 1-2 events happening everyday in this institute with major fest happening in Dec - Month. Many big celebrities come here frequently. The connectivity is quite awesome with joined to the main Mumbai. The campus and surroundings have 2 lakes, 1 hill and lush green. There are too much extra curricular activities to explore. Scholarship are easily found.
