Considering the level of infrastructure we have in our country, studying in IIT is not fulfilling.
Placements: Placement hasn't started yet. For seniors except 2, all were placed. There were 14-15 students in their batch. We didn't have any internship offers. But the maximum package was not much. Only IOCL gave above 10, rest below 10. The role was mainly in R&D and few managerial posts.
Infrastructure: Quality of labs is best in the country. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus and even in hostels. Classrooms were air-conditioned. Medical facilities are very good. We have x-Ray and blood test facilities. And most of the medicine is available for free.
Faculty: In general, teachers were good. they have knowledge no doubt but not all of them have good presentation skills. Some courses are good, others not that interesting. The main problem we have is that we don't have a lot of choices. We have subjects which are not at all related to our project.
