IGDTUW is a good college in terms of placement and infrastructure.
Placements: Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University For Women is a good college in terms of placement. Its average package is approximately 20 LPA. I'm from the Mechanical and Automation Engineering branch, so its average package is approximately 15 LPA, and the highest is 59 LPA (approximately).
Infrastructure: Facilities provided to students at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University For Women are good. There's a library where we can sit and study nicely. The only thing I don't like about the college is the infrastructure; it is nice but not that good according to me. I am not a hosteller, so I don't have knowledge about their food and all.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. They teach according to the semester syllabus, and we can ask them if we don't understand anything in class or after the session ends. I am in my first semester, so I don't find the semester exams really tough.

Mechanical Engineering at IGDTUW.
Placements: So, I am a student at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University For Women in the Mechanical and Automation Engineering course. One has always come across that mechanical is not a good branch and there is no scope of doing it, but after looking at the placement rates of my college from this branch, I think that this is not true. You just need to be good enough in what you are doing, then placement is all yours. No one can stop you in succeeding. Almost every student is placed, and last year the highest package was 32 LPA, the average was 8 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IGDTUW is okay. We don't have a huge and fancy campus like other private colleges, but yes, we do have better placements. I don't think campus size and infrastructure matter to enjoy the campus life; you just need some good friends. We have a library and good classrooms. Being a day scholar, I don't know much about the hostel, but yes, as much as I know from my friends, it is good.
Faculty: I always heard that university teachers don't care about you, whatever you do is not their thing, they just want to complete their syllabus. It's not like that in IGDTUW. Here, teachers are so helpful, complete the syllabus on time, and even take revision classes. What else do we need? We have 2 exams per semester, midsem and endsem. None of the exams are too difficult or too hard to pass if you carefully listen to the teacher in class and revise their notes. Teachers' notes are the best study resource in the college.
Other: I was getting better branches than mechanical in IPU, but I chose IGDTUW over it as even the mechanical placements of IGDTUW are better than tech placements of IPU. And one thing I have learned is one should always go for a better college over a better course. We have so many societies in IGDTUW. Also, we have fests like Diwali fest Jhilmil, tech fest Innerve, and also cultural fest Tarangana.

Review of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women.
Placements: I am a fresher in the B.Tech. MAE department. There is no recruitment for the first years but as far as I know about the placement of my college, it's pretty good—better than most of the Delhi colleges. The average package for my department is around 16–18 lacs. However, students of the mechanical department mostly also participate in technical departments. All good companies come to the college, like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Zomato, Swiggy, etc. Some of them allow computer science departments or tech departments only. But most of them give equal opportunities to all. Departments. Recently this year, a student in the 4th year of the CSE branch got the highest package of 1 crore annually.
Infrastructure: To be honest, despite such a big college as JAC Delhi, IGDTUW has the biggest demerit as infrastructure. The college is very small. Buildings are not in good condition. The old building needs preparing and needs to make a sports arena. Hostel buildings are good, spacious, and big. Every floor has a fridge and induction.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and coordinated with us. The curriculum is well planned accordingly. At the start of every year, we are provided with a whole-year datesheet of holidays, exams and all the events and fests. Curriculum is relevant and parallel to all other engineering colleges. Midterms are quite easy but the endterms are really a bit tough and tricky. No cheating. Just sit silently, single on your bench, and do your work.
Other: The reason I chose this course is because I got it according to my rank; there was nothing better for me. But now I started enjoying mechanical tools and machines. The best part of the mechanical department is the HOD, who is very supportive. College placement and reputation are very good. So most of the companies come. The infrastructure is totally bad and the campus size is very small. Campus is more for studying and less for fun and events.

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women review.
Placements: There are about 150 students in my batch. Our course offers a dual degree option. Top recruiting companies include Hero and Maruti Suzuki, and packages range from 5 to 25 lpa. Our college has a great functioning system to meet the needs of every student.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and well-ventilated classrooms. The college libraries have a variety of books and many societies that cater to students' interests. Overall, it is great to be a part of this college.
Faculty: The teachers in my department are well qualified. They are very efficient in catering to our doubts and needs. The curriculum is well settled for all eight semesters. The semester exams are designed according to the topics studied, ranging from easy to difficult in a well-proportioned way.

Good college with great faculty and placements.
Placements: Almost 85 percent of students got placed. The highest package was 56 LPA and the average was 14 LPA. Top companies that visited our college include Deloitte, Microsoft, Adobe, Zomato, and TVS. 65 percent of students secured internships in companies like Citi Bank and Fractal.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average, and facilities are also average. Labs and classrooms are well-maintained but not air-conditioned, with good facilities. The library is large and has books of almost all kinds. The mess and canteens are cleaned daily and offer good food.
Faculty: The faculty is well-educated, kind, and helpful towards students. They are well-qualified and have good teaching skills. The curriculum is very much relevant and up-to-date with the needs of students, providing sufficient preparation for good placements. Semester exams are normal, with 40 being the passing mark.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest and my family's background in mechanical engineering. The course offers more job opportunities. The fest is well-organized and conducted on a large scale, with a decent crowd.
