As per the brochure released in the year 2023, candidates seeking admission to BTech must have passed Class 12 exams with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with one subject out of the following: CS, Chemistry, or Electronics from CBSE or any other recognised board securing at least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA. Followed by meeting the eligibility criteria, candidates are required to qualify the Paper-1 of JEE Main exam conducted by NTA. However, in case of delay in the conduct of JEE exam, the deemed-to-be university offers admission on the basis of merit of aggregate percentage in the first five subjects of the qualifying exam, i.e., Class 12.

No, Jamia Hamdard does not provide direct admission. The selection for BTech is based on JEE Main result. In case of delay in the conduct of JEE or if JEE candidates are not available, the university may offer admission based on merit of aggregate percentage of first five subjects of the qualifying examination. After completion of all the selection rounds, the university releases a selection list with the names of selected candidates. Such candidates recieve an email with further instructions. Aspirants need to pay their course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

NTA has announced the JEE Main exam date 2025 session 1 and 2. The first session exam will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2025 (Paper 1), and January 30, 2025 (Paper 2). The second session of JEE Mains will be held from April 1 to 8, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 exam date for sessions 1 and 2 can be checked on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.  

NTA has announced the JEE Main application form date 2025. The application form was released on October 28, 2024 will be available until November 22, 2024. The JEE Main 2025 application form session 2 will be available from January 31 to February 22, 2025.

The total tuition fee for BTech at Jamia Hamdard ranges between INR 7 Lacs and INR 8.8 lakh. Inclusive of both regular BTech and lateral entry programmes, this fee, however, is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. Students pursuing BTech CSE from Jamia Hamdard have to choose an elective during the course. Professional Electives are introduced in four threads besides the Open Elective. There are 6 slots for Professional Electives and 4 slots for Open Electives. The department may permit students to take 50% of these (Professional electives + open electives) from other disciplines, based on the choices of the students and Consent of Course advisors. Some of the electives available are:
