Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 15851 and closing rank was 15851. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state.  Admission to the BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering in Jamia Millia Islamia [JMI] is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Apply early as the seats are limited and the competition is very high.

Once the aspirants are shortlisted for BTech programme based on JEE Main score, they need to come for counselling and document verification round. Candidates need to bring the below documents for verification:

• Class 12 marksheet
• JEE Main scorecard
• SC/ ST Category Certificate (if any)

Qualified students of CUET UG are required to register for JMI counselling after which merit lists will be released with the name of the shortlisted students. For the remaining courses, however, the university is still accepting national and university-level entrance exam for final selection.
