Pretty dissatisfied with the crowd over here; overall, the experience is going well.
Placements: An average of 60 to 80 percent of students get placed each year and are mostly placed in mass recruiters like Cognizant, etc. Top roles offered in our course are web developer, data analyst, and sales. Internships need to be researched by yourself, but there are a lot of groups and clubs for your interests.
Infrastructure: The hostel is average or sufficient, with options like 1, 2, 3, or 4-seater rooms with AC or non-AC, dormitories with coolers, and apartments with furnished rooms. The mess is a bit below average, but you have food courts to satisfy your food cravings.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with good teaching experience, and the course makes the students industry-relevant. Semester exams are a bit easy for some subjects and moderate for others. The pass percentage for an average subject is 40 percent in total and 30 percent in end-term exams.
Other: I chose B.Tech CSE because it was highly relevant for me, and a highly competitive environment motivated me. Giving time for self-practice would be a perfect example of improvement. Fests are good, and the campus is crowded.
