The IDOL University Mumbai allows students to take their exams in three different languages, such as Hindi, English, and Marathi. In order to pursue MBA from an MU-affiliated college, the selection is based on merit scores obtained by the students in one among MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, MAH CET, ATMA, GMAT, NMAT, SNAP, SMAT exams accepted by the various affiliated colleges of MU.

In order to pursue BTech from an MU-affiliated college, the selection is based on merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12 followed by a valid score/ rank in MHT-CET or JEE Main. MU admission to all courses during the 2022-23 academic year started in the month of June and the deadline for filling up and submitting the Mumbai University admission form 2022 and pre-admission online enrollment form for UG programmes was June 25. As per this year's 2023 admission process, Candidates who have passed LL.B. or those who have appeared for the Final Semester Examinations of the 3 or 5-year LL.B.
