A positive walk through Veltech University hostel and college life.

Placements: The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course was started in batch 2021. So the placements have not yet been taken for our course. But overall, in the year 2033, more than 1800 students were placed. Overall, the highest package is 45 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Amazon, Cisco and many top MNCs. The top roles offered by the AI-ML course are AI engineer, software engineer, developers and many more.

Infrastructure: The School of Computing has Wi-Fi facilities all over the block, and we also have more than 10 labs, including a Mac Lab. Each school has a library that consists of journals, books, references and many more. We also have computers in the library. The average size of the classroom is 70 students. In the hostel, each room has a Wi-Fi connection. We have 6 days of non-vegetarian nights except Saturday. We have a small canteen with all the requirements, including food and stationary items. We have a medical room open 24/7 and gym facilities where we can get sports equipment too.

Faculty: Every classroom will have two mentors, where half of the students will be taken care of by one and half by another. The teachers are very well qualified and I suggest that concentration and listening to classes will be more beneficial for exams than studying the syllabus all at once. The faculty teaches through PowerPoint, gives notes and makes us do seminars. The first-year course curriculum is common for all departments; the second-year course curriculum focuses on AI and the third-year course curriculum focuses on ML. This makes students industry-ready even before we get placements. The semester exams question our practical skills, problem-solving skills and some theory. So they would be easy if we understood the topics and the syllabus. The pass percentage is more than 95%. .

Value for money you pay.

Placements: Placements are getting higher especially for cse. Companies recruit for core fields. Overall many top companies like zuho come for on college placements . Highest lpa was 45 lakhs in 2020 who got placed in amazon inc. most of the the students got placed in the recent years.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. Food quality is good but still varieties can be improved in the afternoons. In the night non veg are provided. Snacks are also provided in the evening with workers cleaning the rooms everyday. For first year alone 4 individual hostels in a complex are provided

Faculty: Faculties are well qualified and exams happen once in 30-40 days. And this helps us to prepare the syllabus. The functions of the college is satisfactory. Faculties are friendly and are of mostly PhD scholars with much experience. Also they provide mentors to assist the students

Other: Overall the college is worthy for the money
