The CBSE 12th answer keys mention the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam. CBSE Class 12 exams are subjective in nature.

The Board did not release the CBSE answer key for Class 12 after the academic year 2020-2021 since the exams were held once only. However, the board is likely to release the CBSE 12th answer key 2026 in December 2025 since the board examinations will be held twice a year, as stated by the Education Ministry.

Students can follow the steps below to download the official answer key as and when it is made available officially by the board. Till then, students can click on the links provided below to check the answer key of Class 12 CBSE of 2021 provided by experts.

Q:   Will CBSE board exams be conducted twice a year?

A:

The Ministry of Education (MoE) has planned to change the curriculum structure, and the Centre stated that the board exams will now take place twice a year from 2025-26. Students will have the opportunity to take tests twice a year and raise their grades as a result of this. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020's proposals, which seek to lessen the burden on students and support their holistic development, are in line with this action taken by the central government. Exams will be simplified and made more application-based in order to foster students' capacity for critical and creative thinking and abilities.
