As per the Gujarat Board Class 12 exam pattern, the duration of each exam is 3 hours. The maximum marks a student can secure in GSEB HSC exams is 100 marks. Students preparing for the GSEB 12th examinations must go through the GSEB exam pattern as well as GSEB 12th Syllabus which mentions all the important topics that need to be covered for better preparations for the examinations. They must familiarise themselves with the pattern for better preparation of the examination. The GSEB 12th Exam Pattern would also give the students an insight into the type of questions asked as well as the marking scheme.
Candidates are required to secure at least 33% (calculated at 100) marks in a subject to pass. Also, an aggregate mark of 33% is necessary to pass in the board exam. Any candidate failing to secure the stated marks will require to appear for supplementary examination(subjected to the eligibility criteria stated by the board). An aggregate marks of 33% is also required to pass the examination.

Gujarat Board Passing Marks
Students giving the Gujarat Board Class 12 exams need to have a minimum of 33% marks in each subject to get declared as a pass. Students unable to get the minimum passing percentage will be provided with an option to give the GSEB HSC Supplementary exam again, which is conducted a few weeks after the declaration of the result.
GSEB Class 12 Syllabus
Due to COVID-19, the State Board has decided to reduce the GSEB Syllabus for Class 12 by 30%. GSEB has released the GSEB HSC Syllabus for the General stream students on its official website. Students must carefully go through the GSEB Class 12 Syllabus 2021 and chalk out their preparation strategy.

You need not worry if you are not clear the GSEB HSC exam 2025. The Gujarat board conducts the GSEB 12th supplementary exam 2025 in June/July 2025. The GSEB HSC supplementary exam time table will be released soon after the release of the GSEB 12th result 2025.
