Manipur Board 12th Result 2025: Classification of Passed Students
(a) Candidates who pass the Class XI/Higher Secondary Examination shall be declared to have passed the examination in FIRST DIVISION if they have secured 300 marks and above in aggregate (not less than 60% marks in the aggregate) Candidates securing 400 marks and above in the aggregate shall be declared to have passed the examination in DISTINCTION WITH LETTER (not less than 80% marks in the aggregate)
(b) Candidates who pass the Class XI/Higher secondary Examination shall be declared to have passed the examination in SECOND DIVISION if they have secured 225 marks and above but below 300 marks in the aggregate (not less than 45% but below 60% marks in the aggregate)
(c) All other candidates who pass the Class XI/Higher Secondary Examination shall be declared to have passed the examination in THIRD DIVISION if they have secured 165 marks and above but below 225 marks in the aggregate (not less than 33% but below 45% marks in the aggregate)
(d) A candidate who passed the Class XI/Higher Secondary Examination and secured 80% marks and above in a subject/subjects, shall be declared to have secured Letter Marks (s) in the/those subjects (s)

COHSEM Manipur 12th Result 2025 for Rechecking or Revaluation
Students who think that any of their examination papers are not evaluated correctly can submit their answer scripts of those subjects for revaluation through COHSEM website. The Manipur Board of Secondary Education would issue an online revaluation form for this soon after the results are declared, which the students need to fill up and submit it online along with the prescribed fees. In the re-evaluation process, the entire paper is revalued, and answer scripts are checked for any unmarked answers. Whereas, under the rechecking process, the full answer script is reviewed by an independent examiner appointed by the Manipur Board.
Manipur Board 12th Result 2025 for Improvement exams
Board of Secondary Education, Manipur offers a second chance to all the students of class 12 who fails to secure the minimum qualifying marks in one or more subjects.
(a) Improvement exam in one subject:
Students who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Council may appear at the succeeding Higher Secondary Examinations for improvement in any one subject offered in the last Higher Secondary Examination. Such students will be required to enrol themselves in the institution from where they have appeared and passed the last Higher Secondary Examination within a period of five years from their passing. The student will have to appear for the Improvement Examination with the prescribed syllabus. For subjects involving practical, the student would be required to appear in both the theory and practical examinations. Only a one-time chance shall be given for improvement of performance in one subject.
Migrated students from the Council may also be allowed to appear for Subject Improvement without re-registration. Such student shall have to pay an extra fee of half of the subject Improvement Permission fee prescribed by the Council for the revival of his/ her original Registration Number. As for the improvement examination result, the better performance of the two examinations will be accepted. The application for permission for Improvement of performance in one subject in the prescribed form must be submitted to the Council within three months from the date of declaration of the result of the COHSEM Manipur Board Result of the years preceding the year in which they desire to appear for the Improvement Examination.
(b) Improvement exam in all subjects:
Students who have passed in all the subjects and desire to appear in all the subjects for improving his/her performance would be allowed to reappear in all those subjects which they offered in the last Higher Secondary Examination for Improvement of performance in the succeeding year only. Such students must enrol themselves in the institution from where they have appeared and passed the last Higher Secondary Examination. They can appear in the Manipur Board Class 12 Syllabus prescribed by the Council for that year. For subjects involving practical, the student shall appear in both theory and practical examinations.
Such a student shall be given only one time chance for improving his/her performance. As for the result, the better performance of the two examinations shall be accepted.
