BIT Sindri Review by 21-25 senior.
Placements: About 50% of students are already placed in our branch. The highest package was 12 LPA from TATA Steel, while the lowest package was 3.3 LPA from TCS Ninja, and the average package was 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Hitachi, Yamaha, Cognizant, and Capgemini.
Infrastructure: We have a central library that is huge and contains almost all relevant study materials. Classrooms can comfortably accommodate 40 to 50 students. Wi-Fi is not provided by our college, so we have to install our modems. The old hostels are not being maintained properly.
Faculty: While the teachers are helpful, the quality of teaching is not up to the mark. The faculty is knowledgeable, with most of them holding Ph.D. degrees and some being GATE Rankers as well. Semester exams are not very tough; one can easily pass them by doing previous years’ questions (PYQs).

I have chosen this course because it offers opportunities in both the core and IT sectors.

Memories of BIT Sindri, Dhanbad.
Placements: Only 10-15 people are currently unplaced, and the remaining all are placed in some company. The highest package was 12 LPA from TATA Steel, the lowest package was 3.3 LPA from TCS Ninja, and the average package was 6.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Hitachi, and Yamaha.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are not very big but big enough to accommodate 50 students. All types of boards are available, like smart boards, whiteboards, and green boards. Wi-Fi is installed inside the department but is not in working condition all the time. The library is very big.
Faculty: Teachers mostly focus on GATE exam preparation and provide less support for placement. Semester exams are doable and not so hard. Doing previous year questions and important topics is enough to pass the exams. There are 7 MCQs of 14 marks, which are very helpful for students to pass the exams.
Other: I have chosen this course as the semiconductor industry is going to boom in the near future.
