Engaging course curriculum with supportive faculty members and Vibrant Campus Life.
Placements: Around 80% of students in our course were placed. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA, the average salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 4 LPA. Some of the top companies hiring from our course include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, and Deloitte. About 70% of students in the course received internships. Popular companies offering internships include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Accenture. Some of the key roles offered to students from our course include Software Developer, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, and Consultant.
Infrastructure: For our course, we have access to well-equipped labs with updated software, spacious classrooms with projectors, and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the campus. There is a well-stocked library with a good selection of books and journals. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms, a 24/7 water supply, and good security. Mess food is average but offers a balanced diet, while the canteen provides more varieties. Basic medical facilities are available on campus with a doctor visiting regularly. Sports facilities include a gym, basketball court, cricket ground, and indoor games, encouraging physical activity and recreation.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, making learning easier. Teaching quality is good, with practical examples and interactive sessions. The course curriculum is mostly relevant and includes projects and assignments that help to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, students who studied regularly find them manageable. The pass percentage is around 85-90%, reflecting supportive teaching and a balanced exam approach.
Other: I chose English Honours because I have a passion for literature, writing, and language, and it helps me develop strong communication skills. The best things about the course are the deep insights into different genres of literature, creative writing opportunities, and the development of critical thinking. I wish the course could offer more practical applications, such as internships or industry-related exposure. Campus is lively with various events and fests, and the crowd is diverse and engaging. Connectivity is good, and the campus surroundings are peaceful. There are also scholarships and extracurricular activities like debates, drama, and book clubs to explore beyond academics.

A place to expose your latent talent.
Placements: Placement season has been fruitful to our course. Though the percentage of students getting placed is around 25% only, the exposure and interview experience were at the next level. The highest package is 24 LPA, with the lowest at 7 LPA, giving an average of 10 LPA in my course. Top recruiting companies are D. E. Shaw, Ab Inbev, etc. Around 30% of people from my course had gotten good internships in Tier 1 companies like JSW, Ab Inbev, Nation with Namo, etc. with a stipend ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 for the roles in finance research, trainee consultant, growth & strategy analyst, marketing, etc. The major roles for which placements are done lie in financial research, management trainee, consultant, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Hindu College is very good because we have all the basic facilities available, like a projector, Wi-Fi, lab, and AC, all working in good condition (the internet, though, won't work inside campus). There is no boys hostel right now, though it's in process of getting built. The girls hostel is there and the infrastructure is good. There are 2 canteens per student in the college, with decent-quality snacks and food. The medical facilities of the college are good with generic medicine. The sports complex of the college has all the sports that are most often played. We have a basketball court, a cricket ground, a badminton court, etc. There is a gym inside the complex (but open only for people in the sports department).
Faculty: The curriculum of the entire university is good in the sense that it will provide you all sorts of exposure in the course you're enrolled in. We have a skill enhancement course, a value addition course, in NEP, which, in a sense, is meant to add values to students and not restrict them to only core study. The professors are legit damn good or the best; with the level of knowledge they have and the way they teach, genuinely, the discussions with them seem very intellectual and thought-provoking. The semester exams are easy in the sense that they mostly ask repetitive questions, so past year papers and some 2-3 hours per day study will help you land above 8 CGPA. Almost every student passes the examination with the exception of 1-2 students who leave the sheet bank, so the main solution is to fill your sheet with all the knowledge you have.
Other: B.Com. (H) is the best if you want to make your career in finance & accounting. It will provide you with many aspects of the finance domain and accounting industry. I chose it to pursue a CA course alongside my undergrad. The best part of this course is the alignment of the syllabus with CA, as we need to just refer to PYQs for exams and no concept building much. This helps us devote time to the professional courses. There is one improvement needed, which is the practical subjects rather than old theories and concepts, like the management theories, which are very old and we have to study so the need is to have new theories totally as per contemporary time. The fest is the best of our college, The Mecca; the aura is something that we can't express in words explicitly. The environment seems very energizing; the get-together of friends and the events all keep us very engaged throughout the festival season. The crowd in the college is good, in the sense that people are here who really have achieved something in their schools in academics as well as non-academics; only the intellectual people you will see all around. The alumni of our college are very good, starting from the civil services, sports, business, industry, etc. And they provide good connections. There are so many societies like consulting, entrepreneurship, finance, etc. that provide great exposure to real-world working and communication building.

Placements: It is a good college but it doesn't provide any placement but the placement cell invites some company they provide a minimum package of 2lakh to 2.5lakh par annum and sometimes more but hoping for a placement from here is a mistake so go only for education .
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained campus is Full Wi-Fi connection and room are Full air conditioning water library and all other things are Fully maintained different society always organise different types of games and programs that open our mind and fill with energy .
Faculty: Yes all teachers are very helpful and they always support in and out anywhere you need they stay connected to them they will provide you so many opportunities to learn and earn from different programs and they will also help you in practical also so enjoy hard .

Best 3 years of my life were in this college.
Placements: Hindu is known to provide better placement opportunities for B.Com. and B.Sc. state courses. My course was Chemistry so not many companies offer jobs to B.Sc. Chemistry students. But if one wants to sit for placement, they can with a good CV. Some of my seniors got placed in very good companies with chemistry as their subject.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very good. All the labs and classrooms are well maintained. The library is easily accessible and enough space is there Also, the library is being constructed of 4 floors. Wi-Fi facility is also available for the students. The biggest playground of du is in Hindu and many sports facilities are provided like cricket, football, basketball, etc. Right now only girls hostel are there and boys hostel construction is to be started. Girls' hostel is great but one disadvantage is that it is very expensive. Girls' hostel is newly built and very well maintained. AC rooms are there and mess food is also great.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Yes, the college curriculum is relevant. All the teachers are PhDs and are very serious about the coursework and lab. They do take assignment tests and presentations. Semester exams are moderate and any student can get good grades even by reading and practicing previous year questions.
Other: I choose chemistry because its research is interdisciplinary and has a wide scope. You can get jobs in industries like ONGC and DRDO and can be an administrative post like a patent officer. Hindu gives best college life experience. Many societies are there; the best crowd of du is in Hindu; you can do whatever you want, like ECA and many scholarships are provided by the college, like the Raj Bhargava scholarship.

The behavior of faculty members is the best in my knowledge. They are all very cooperative.
Placements: There are 95% placements in Hindu College. Abhyas, the internship cell of Hindu College, works a lot for the students to get maximum internships and good placements. There are internship fairs in which we get the opportunity to get internships at top companies. Top companies visit our college every year to choose brilliant students. Packages vary according to the companies. Mostly, the packages are high.
Infrastructure: Hindu College's annual fest is called MECCA, which comprises diverse events. Many big celebrities are invited, and there are many performances like dance, singing, fashion shows, poetry, etc. It is the biggest fest of Delhi University. People showcase their talent, and the chance to meet the celebrity makes everyone excited. Hindu College has a huge library. Students sit there the whole day to study, and some issue books and sit in the garden to study. The college also has its own sports teams.
Faculty: There are very well-qualified and dedicated faculty members available in the university, and they are one of the best in my knowledge. The way of teaching is so understanding and calm that all the students get it on the first attempt, and those who don't get it can ask as many doubts as they want. They provide their contact details so that after classes, we can catch them and get our doubts cleared, both related to the course and out of course.

Happy with both placements and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement facility for my course is good but not sufficient, as we had average placement opportunities with a low percentage of students. We have to go to the company ourselves, approaching for jobs in internships. Most students do not get placements in their core subjects.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of a college is very good; we could have an auditorium-free, Wi-Fi-free, big ground, sports room facilities, library facilities, medical room facilities, etc. The cafeteria is also there and the food is very good. Hostel facilities are present and there is a market nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are very intelligent and knowledgeable; they enlighten us with their knowledge and help us with online and offline material exams. Regularly held tests are weakly conducted by the teachers. We have the facilities to conduct experiments related to course .
Other: Various fests and events held on the college campus make it so easy to make good connections with students and societies are active in extracurricular activities.

Q:   What is the cutoff for BCom (Hons) admission at Hindu College?

A:

Starting 2022, Hindu College has stopped releasing the cutoff for BCom (Hons) and other UG courses publicly. Earlier, the institute, along with the University of Delhi used to release the cutoff scores for different category students across seven to eight cutoff lists. These lists were based on the Class 12 scores obtained by the students. With the introduction of CUET UG, the process for the release of cutoff has seen changes. Now, students who have applied to Hindu College in their DU CSAS registration form (after qualifying CUET UG) receive an admission call, provided they meet the set score standards of the institute. For more details on the subjects, students are advised to reach out to the admission office.
