Academic Qualification for IBSAT 2023

  • Candidates should have passed a graduate degree of three-year or four-year duration from any recognised institute or university i.e. completion of formal education under 10 2 3 or 10 2 4 pattern.
  • They must have obtained at least 50% marks in their bachelor's degree examination (final year).
  • Candidates who are currently in the final year of their graduation degree are also eligible for the IBSAT exam, however, they must complete their graduation (all exams practical as well as theory papers) before May 31, 2023.
  • Also, the admission status of such candidates will be provisional until and unless they submit their bachelor degree mark sheets to prove their eligibility for IBSAT 2023.
  • For this, candidates need to submit their mark sheets and certificates for graduation degree by November 1, 2023.

IBSAT 2023 Eligibility for English Proficiency

  1. Candidates must have studied in English medium throughout their formal education
  2. If candidates have not studied in English medium, then they must take any of the tests mentioned below and submit a valid score by March 31, 2023. The proficiency test for English that candidates need to appear and qualify for IBSAT is:

As part of IBSAT 2023 selection criteria, candidates must have valid scores in any of MBA entrance exams below:

Candidates have to submit their scores for qualifying entrance exam and English proficiency test using IBSAT 2023 login before the last date as mentioned in the table above.

Q:   What is the qualifying marks for BBA admission at IBS Hyderabad?

A:

A pass in Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate and above in English Medium is required to apply for IBS Hyderabad BBA course. Aspirants must fulfill the minimum age requirements as prescribed by the respective board via which the student has appeared for the qualifying exam. Candidates meeting the educational requirements can fill out the application form for IBS Hyderabad admission.

A:

  •  A pass in Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate and above in English Medium is required to apply for IBS Hyderabad BBA course.

  • If an applicant is found ineligible even at a later date, after admission into the programme will be cancelled.

Yes, IBSAT (ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test) can be taken more than once. IBSAT is an entrance examination conducted by ICFAI Foundation for admission to MBA and PGDM programs offered by the IBS campuses across India. To appear for IBSAT exam more than once candidates must note the important guidelines: 1. Frequency: There is no limit on the number of attempts one can appear for IBSAT. You can take the IBSAT in consecutive years. The exam is usually conducted again in February, wherein candidates can re-appear for IBSAT. 2. Application Process: For each attempt, you need to complete the IBSAT application process and pay requisite fee. 3. Eligibility: Make sure you fulfill the eligibility criteria for the programme you are interested in. Some programs may have specific requirements regarding the number of attempts. Check the programme's eligibility criteria to ensure you meet all the necessary requirements.

The following are the requirements for admission to the PGDM programme at ICFAI Business School Gurgaon:

  •  Applicants must hold a 50% bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • At the graduation level, candidates had to have taken English as their major subject.
  • Applicants must pass the IBSAT entrance exam, which is administered by the IBS team.

Further, admissions are also offered based on a valid score of CAT/ XAT/ NMAT entrance exam, which are conudcted at the state/ national-level.
