The questions in Paper-2 are designed to test the in-depth knowledge and understanding of the subject by the candidate. It is important to note that Paper-2 is a subject-specific paper, and candidates are expected to have a thorough understanding of the subject to score well in the exam. Therefore, candidates should prepare for Paper-2 as per the UGC NET syllabus for the subject they have chosen and practice solving the previous year's question papers to enhance their preparation and improve their chances of success in the exam.

Q:   When should I start solving the UGC NET previous year's question paper?

A:
It is advisable to start solving UGC NET question papers as part of your exam preparation at least 2-3 months before the exam date. This will give you sufficient time to practice and revise the concepts you have learned and develop a strategy for time management and improving your speed and accuracy. Solving UGC NET question papers should be a gradual process, starting with the easier questions and gradually moving towards the more difficult ones. You can also use the UGC NET question papers to identify the important topics and prioritize your preparation accordingly. It is important to solve the UGC NET question papers in a simulated environment, similar to the actual exam, to get a realistic experience. You should also time yourself while solving the question papers to improve your speed and accuracy and develop a strategy for managing time during the actual exam. Therefore, starting to solve UGC NET question papers early in your preparation and gradually increasing the difficulty level can help you to improve your chances of success in the exam.
