SBI Clerk exam analysis

State Bank of India (SBI) is conducting SBI Clerk 2020 prelims exam. The first slot of Day 1 was conducted successfully today. The overall difficulty level of slot 1 was easy to moderate. The English Section was the easiest among all, where candidates could easily attempt more than 25 questions. The Reasoning section was easy to moderate and majorly questions were asked from puzzles. The Numerical Ability section was bit time-consuming, however, it was easy to moderate.

A lot of candidates appear for SBI Clerk prelims exam as a result of which the competition is high. Though the preliminary phase is qualifying in nature and the marks will not be added in the final merit list. However, it is mandatory to qualify this stage in order to secure a seat in the mains exam.

SBI Clerk 2020 Prelims Exam Analysis & Review by Students

Shiksha visited one of the SBI Clerk exam centre at Noida where over 3500 candidates had appeared in the exam to gather their feedback regarding the difficulty level of the paper. According to SBI Clerk Prelims exam analysis by students of Slot 1, the overall paper was easy compared to last year. There is no change in the exam pattern and questions were asked based on the syllabus. Check below the reactions given by the students.

Vikas Verma said, “The paper was moderate. All the questions in Maths were easy and could be done easily. There were three puzzles in Reasoning. The Inequality questions were easy. There was one passage on Mosquitos.”

Kuldeep Singh, who has applied under Ex-Servicemen category said, “The paper was easy compared to last year. There were 10 questions on Arithmetic, 10 Simplification questions, 5 questions based on Table, 5 Quadratic Equation questions and 5 Series questions. In Reasoning, there was one direction puzzle, seating arrangement, floor puzzle. The questions were easy. In English, 7 questions were on Reading Comprehension.”

Aman Kumar said, “The overall difficulty of the test was easy. In Numerical Ability, there was one table DI. There were questions on Simplifications and Quadratic Equations. There were two to three questions on Syllogism. I have attempted 65 questions.”

Divakar said, “I have attempted a total of 82 questions. The Mathematics paper was easy compared to Reasoning. I found the English paper a bit tough. However, the overall paper was easy to moderate.”

Ankur Gupta said, “The overall difficulty was easy. Candidates who have prepared well can easily do good in the exam. The cut off for Delhi is expected to be around 75.”

Rachit said, “The paper was quite lengthy. The level of Reasoning and Numerical Ability was a bit lengthy. The English Language section was easy.”

Candidates whose exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 29, March 1 and 8 can now strategise their preparation based on these reviews.

SBI Clerk prelims result 2020 will be announced in March. This year, SBI Clerk cut off is expected to be high as the paper was easy to moderate.

SBI Clerk prelims result 2025 was announced on October 4. The result can be downloaded by logging with the required credentials. Shortlisted candidates will appear for the Mains exam.
