RRB Group D Shift Timings: RRB Group D 2022 exam is being conducted in three shifts by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). RRB Group D 2022 shift timings highlight the number of shifts, exam start time, exam end time, reporting time, gate closure time, etc. The details regarding RRB Group D shift timings are mentioned on the admit card. Knowing RRB Group D shift timings help candidates to reach the exam centre on time.

RRB Group D Level 1 2022 exam is conducted to fill up a total of 1,03,769 vacancies of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Pointsman and other Level-I posts. The selection process of RRB Group D comprises CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and document verification. Read below for more details on RRB Group D shift timings 2022.

RRB Group D Shift Timings 2022

The Computer Based Test of RRB Group D is conducted in three shifts. The first shift exam commences at 9 am while the second shift begins at 12.45 pm. The third shift will begins at 5 pm. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes for general candidates and 120 minutes for persons with disability (PWD) category candidates.

RRB Group D Exam Day Guidelines 2022

Candidates appearing for RRB Group D exam should abide by the RRB Group D exam day guidelines given below:

  • Candidates need to carry the printed copy of RRB Group D admit card 2022 along with one photo-identity to the exam centre
  • Candidates should carry Aadhaar card to the exam centre for Aadhaar linked biometric verification
  • Items such as mobile phones, pagers, and other communication devices are not permitted inside the hall
  • Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, pager, watches, Bluetooth, calculator, metallic wears, bangles, belts, bracelets, books, papers, etc are not allowed inside the exam centre
  • Candidates should reach the exam centre on time or else they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall

The difficulty level of RRB Group D CBT exam held across various shifts of different phases was moderate. The difficulty level of the General Science and General Awareness & Current Affairs sections remained moderate to difficult. The difficulty level of Mathematics and General Intelligence and Reasoning sections were moderate. The Chemistry portion of General Science was difficult.

How to Attempt RRB Group D 2022?

Some of the important points related to RRB Group D exam are given below:

  • Current affairs is a scoring section in RRB Group D exam. Review the last six months current affairs
  • Be sure to include important facts from history, geography, and current events
  • When answering questions, candidates must know the options they can eliminate first
  • Candidates should not answer if they are unsure about all the options

RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2022

RRB Group D exam pattern for CBT is divided into four sections: General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. The total duration of the test is 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied by the scribe). The test paper comprises a total of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. Percentile-based normalisation is used to calculate the scores of candidates.
