RRB NTPC CBAT Exam Analysis 2022

RRB NTPC CBAT 2022 exam was conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) for level 4 & 6. The exam was conducted for candidates who have qualified the CBT 2 exam by securing the cutoff marks. CBAT is conducted for Traffic Assistant, Station Master and Commercial Apprentice posts. It is conducted to test the psychology and aptitude of candidates. The overall difficulty level of the CBAT exam was moderate.

Students observed changes in the exam pattern for CBAT. The changes were observed in the 'Spatial Scanning' and Sorting Test Batteries. The answer options given to the Spatial test battery were 10, earlier it was five. The time allotted for this test battery was changed from 8 min to 6 min. Many students complained that since the answer options were too many in the Spatial battery, they had to scroll the mouse and it was not working too. Students had to use the arrow key to check the answer options. This resulted in consuming the time of candidates. Moreover, the time duration of the sorting test was too changed from 8 min to 6 min.

RRB NTPC exam pattern for CBAT is such that it comprises five to six test batteries as per the posts. The number of questions in each test battery was different. The questions and answer options are in English and Hindi. The duration of the test was 71 minutes. Candidates are required to secure minimum T-score of 42 marks to qualify this test. There is no negative marking in CBAT. Candidates qualifying the CBAT are called for document verification. To call candidates for document verification, 70 per cent weightage will be given to RRB NTPC CBT 2 and 30 per cent to CBAT.

RRB NTPC CBAT Exam Analysis 2022

Shiksha reported live from one of the RRB NTPC exam centres for CBAT in Noida regarding the overall difficulty level of the exam. Candidates can check below the feedback shared by the students.

Dushyant Kumar: There were five test batteries in CBAT. The overall paper was moderate in terms of difficulty level. The time duration of Spatial test and sorting test was changed from 8 min to 6 min. The questions asked from the figures were easy. The time duration was less or else the paper was good.

Ankit Gautam: The questions were easy to moderate. There were 35 figure-based questions. The figures were abstract. Spatial scanning was easy. The ordering of list carried 25 questions. RRB NTPC Cut off for CBAT is expected to go high.

Shubham Bansal: The questions were good, however, the time duration to solve them was less. We were given 8 minutes to solve Intelligence Test and Personality Test. However, the duration to solve Spatial Scanning, and Sorting was reduced to six min which earlier used to be eight minutes. The number of questions was the same.

Jatin Chaudhary: Railways have reduced the time duration of the main test. The duration of the Information and ordering test was reduced to 6 minutes. The Spatial scanning carried 40 questions. The level of questions was moderate. The scrolling in Information and order was too long since the answer options were many. This consumed time.

Mrinal: The overall paper of CBAT was good. The challenge that I faced was with scrolling the mouse since the answer options were too many. The mouse was not scrolling properly.
