However, the candidates who qualify for the JRF (Junior research Fellowship) gets the sum to complete their research in specific subject and becomes eligible to become assistant professors as well. The cutoff for JRF is higher than the cut off of NET exam.

To prepare for UGC (University Grants Commission) NET (National Eligibility Test), you must understand the core concepts of your subject very well. This exam is divided into two parts – Paper 1 which focuses on teaching/research aptitude, and Paper 2 which is your subject-specific.
