    All things special about BHU.
Placements: There is no campus placement for undergraduate students from Science (statistics) in BHU. In fact I doubt any university or institute in india can arrange campus placement for plans B.Sc. (Hons) students. You need to either go for higher studies like M.Sc MBA, MCA etc. Which can give campus placement, or appear for job exams loke PO, civil service, SSC etc. Good news in BHU there are multiple aspects which can help you prepare better for further exams or jobs. Like you can join NCC, NSS, Foreign language which can help you in further steps.
Infrastructure: Examination are very good. Students who concentrate on their studies could easily get good score. I am absolutely satisfied because of all faculty members member are very good. As we know the BHU is asia's the largest university according the area. BHU is the only one campus where we can meet with many IITians, normal students and also many doctors. BHU has a very large and green infrastructure. It has the facility of 4 GB free Wi-Fi each day. The hostels are mostly two seater with bedding and food facilities. There is only one problem mess food in not much good it is okay type, and the rate is Rs 50 per meal. One more things must be added the ground here are well maintained.
Faculty: The teaching quality and teaching style of faculty member are really good except some faculty members this is common almost in every institute but they are very helpful. The office staff and lab attendants are very good. Exams are quite tough. The professors are very qualified and have expertise in their field. Teaching quality is good. Semester exams are moderate difficult. The passing percentage is 100%. The course curriculum expose students to various practical that make them ready for industry.
Other: Banaras Hindu University is one of the eight public universities that the Indian government has names an Institution of Eminence. About 15,000 of the roughly 30,000 students of BHU, the biggest residential university in Asian, live on campus. The main campus of the university spans around 1,500 acres, while the south campus covers 2,700 acres. The university is famous for its scholarships and the placements its offers to students. The highest package offered by BHU to students in IINR 35LPA. The university has an international centre specially available for international students. Such facilities are available on campus to meet the diversity of students base located in BHU.

    BHU- Placements, fees, facilities.
Placements: It has been observed that the statistics course at the Institute of Sciences BHU has the best placements. While there are comparatively fewer placement opportunities for undergraduate courses, there are plenty of opportunities for masters. The median salary package offered is 9.1 LPA, while the average salary package is yet to be specified. Three students have received the highest salary package of 16 LPA CTC in 2023–24. The lowest package offered is 8.15 LPA. Some of the major companies that visit the campus for placements include Connect HEOR, Accenture, Genpact, Novo Nordisk, EY, and Deloitte. The job roles offered are statistics, data and analytics, consultant, business analyst, and data scientist.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities at BHU are excellent, as it is the largest residential university in Asia. However, due to the limited number of available seats, not all students can be accommodated in the hostels. A separate merit list is prepared based on your score in CUET and distance from the college. Additionally, there are separate hostels for students coming from Bangladesh, Nepal, etc. Generally, only those students who got admission in the first or second round of counseling get hostel accommodation. Regarding food, all hostels have their own mess and canteen, which serve all students, whether they live in the hostel or not. The quality of food in the hostels is good. There is Wi-Fi available across all BHU campuses, which is accessible only to students. To access the Wi-Fi, students need an ID password, which they can obtain for free from the Computer Center. BHU has both a cyber and a central library for its students, which require a library pass to access. The classrooms are clean and spacious, and all departments have their own labs. The sports facilities at BHU are also very good, with playgrounds and an indoor stadium available for students. Medical facilities are provided to students, and they can obtain a health diary from the Student Health Center, which entitles them to free check-ups and treatments.
Faculty: Teachers are highly skilled, knowledgeable, and qualified individuals. However, it is not advisable to solely rely on them for your studies. The quality of teaching is commendable, especially in the B.Sc. program, which is predominantly theory-based. It is essential to take initiative and learn independently. The semester exams are challenging and cannot be passed by cramming the night before. To pass each subject, a minimum of 41 marks is required, along with an overall CGPA of 4.1.
