This college is really good in ROI.
Placements: Basically in Calcutta university, students prefer higher education over placements. Bt still our campus placement has a very good chance this year. But that student who wants placement still got a chance to get that. Unlike Jadavpur University our placement is not so good far, but for IT and CSE, it is around 7-8 LPA average. The lowest u may say it is around 4 LPA and the highest it is around 10 LPA. Our top recruiting company is TCS digital and Ninja, Wipro, Accenture, L & T, etc. Google and Microsoft company is not visiting us so far. Our university provides an internship facility to all the students who want to do so. Since I'm a student in the first year I don't have much idea about that. IT is the best branch of this university with such an amazing faculty member and average placement.
Infrastructure: Our college is not so large on campus, it is very small, bt has a new building with a good infrastructure. The library is fully air conditioning with such a huge number of books. Labs are so well equipped. Classroom sizes are large and very good in conditions. Hostel quality is also average. Just like many of the government college hostels of west Bengal. It is an old model but the fee structure is very compatible. It's around 150 rupees per month and the food charge is 3k rupees per month. There is no Wi-Fi facility. And sports and games curriculum are also average not so much developed.
Faculty: The best thing about this college is its faculty members. They are just best. They are very helpful in the preparation of GATE. They are very qualified passed out from IITs. And many of them have experience of teaching in foreign universities. IT course is the best course at CU because it has a teacher I don't remember his name who is very popular in West Bengal. The difficulty of the semester exams is very high. One thing about CU is that it has a very low grading system. Many students fails in sem exam if they didn't prepare seriously. But if u r good at study u will pass easily. Cu doesn't provide good marks in sem exam like all the other private universities.

Our college is good for students who want to gain complete knowledge.
Placements: I am in the IT department, and I will be graduating in 2024. The placements of our college are decent. TCS visits here and hires plenty of students. The average salary package offered to students can be around 3 LPA-4 LPA, and students try for off-campus placements also. Internships are done by students on their own. Professors in CU are well qualified, and they help students in internships.
Infrastructure: The hostel is provided to students mainly on the basis of the distance of their residence. There are different hostels for different groups of students. The classrooms are well-equipped and have air-conditioners. The library of Calcutta University is well maintained and has thousands of books. The lab of CU is famous all over India. All modern devices are available.
Faculty: The faculty members of Calcutta University are highly qualified. Since there are less students in a batch, it is easy for students to interact with teachers. Teachers help students up to a maximum extent. The course curriculum was updated in 2018. The main focus of Calcutta University is on research.
Other: Now CU is gaining popularity in West Bengal. The closing rank is very high for CSE/IT branch, and students need to get a rank of below 1,000 in WBJEE to join here. This shows that it has a better closing rank than the core branches of Jadavpur University. So, students who join in CU are top-notch. Different events are held in our college such as Hultz, etc., and every department organises its own events.

The college offers good placements and very good faculty.
Placements: Around 40 to 60% of students got placed. The highest salary package of 8.2 LPA and the lowest salary package of 4.2 LPA are offered in our college. Amazon is the top recruiting company of our college. Software engineering and developer are the top roles offered in our course. The average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. Almost 90 to 95% of students got internships in companies like Tata Consultant Service, CTS, Amazon, Google IIEST, IBM, National Informatics Center, Ardent Pvt. Ltd, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides very good speed Wi-Fi facility, very good labs, and air-conditioned classrooms, library and elevators. The infrastructure is very good, and there are helpful teachers and a security guard, etc. The hostel provides very good quality of food and sports and game facilities and a mess committee. The infrastructure is also good at the hostel, and there are very good rooms with very good beds and lights, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and delightful. Due to certain flaws in the education system, our university often offers degrees even when they are job-ready. All the criteria are good. The syllabus content and its delivery are good. There is a dearth of improvement, innovation and research quality and quantity of teachers. There is a lack of guidance from industry individuals.
Other: I like this course because there is a lot of scope in it. I wish the college should improve skills. Events, fest and extracurricular activities are organised here. Scholarships are provided for students.
