B.Sc. in Computer Science - Batch of 2026
Offered by Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology

A Review Of The Sanpada College Of Commerce And Technology .
Placements: Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology (SCCT) offers a B.Sc. in Computer Science programme. While placement data can vary year to year, generally, a significant percentage of students secure placements with reputable IT companies. Key Highlights:Placement Opportunities: A strong placement record with a good percentage of students securing jobs. Top Recruiters: Includes well-known IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and potential others. Salary Range: Offers a decent salary range with a competitive average package. Internship Opportunities: Provides internship opportunities in various IT companies, giving students valuable industry experience.
Infrastructure: The SCCT hostel offers varying levels of accommodation, with options ranging from single rooms to dormitories. The mess provides meals with varying degrees of quality and a range of options, while the canteen offers snacks and beverages. Basic medical facilities are available on campus, and students have access to sports facilities and opportunities to participate in sporting events.
Faculty: Quality of teaching at SCCT varies depending on the individual faculty member. Some professors are highly qualified and experienced, delivering engaging lectures and providing valuable guidance. However, the quality of teaching can be consistent across subjects. The curriculum generally covers core computer Science concepts but may not always align perfectly with the latest industry trends. While it equips students with foundation knowledge, additional efforts might be required to gain specific industry-ready skills. The difficult of semester exams can range from moderate to challenging, depending on the subject and the professor.
Other: I chose the B.Sc. Computer Science course at SCCT primarily because of my strong interest in technology and its rapidly evolving landscaped. The prospect of learning about programming, software development, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and data Science deeply intrigued me. The best aspects of this course include the opportunity to gain a strong foundation in core computer Science principles, hands-on experience through practical assignments and projects, and exposure to industry-relevant technologies. The faculty, while varying in quality, includes some experienced professionals who bring valuable industry insights to the classroom.

Review of Shree L.R. Tiwari Degree College of Arts, Commerce and Science.
Placements: I haven't graduated nor faced placement companies. According to our teachers and my seniors, among 60 students, only 10 seats are available. Companies mostly recruit students who have the most certifications and worked as interns before. There are companies lEpicenternter for recruiting students.
Infrastructure: There isn't any hostel provided by the college. The infrastructure of the college is still in progress. Some places are under renovation and some have just been renovated. Overall the infrastructure is quite good but not the best. Classrooms are just enough to fit 80 students. The canteen is renovated, and it looks just like a foreign one.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best. They are super helpful. Some teachers are okay but the rest are great. The college is affiliated with Mumbai University so basically, it has the same syllabus as University of Mumbai. The syllabus is quite similar and relevant except for a few subjects which have been taken from other backgrounds.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in code life.

Average - go for it only if you live in Navi Mumbai and don't want to travel a lot.
Placements: If you can get a better option, then do not come here. I have not seen the top companies coming out here; it may be average for MBA courses but not for other courses. Do not expect a good package after completing your studies at this place. It has quite a reputation but the reality is different.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty basic. The curriculum is also average. Benches are broken. Mics for lectures do not work. Old classrooms. Collects a good amount of money and donations but hardly anything on infrastructure. Not a great college at all.
Faculty: Annual fests are pretty nice. Exams and curriculum are decent. Teachers are qualified. The curriculum is not that great. Lecturers hardly seem to care. They do their jobs and leave. Though they are available for doubt-solving,. The college seems to be more invested in festivals.

Review of G.N. Khalsa College.
Placements: For B.A. students, there are no on-campus placements provided. Students have to find the placements on their own. College does not provide placement opportunities on campus for courses like B.A. So, students have to look after placements at their own risk.
Infrastructure: Course is quite relevant and provides a good opportunity, only if we know our future goals. College does not provide hostel facilities, so we need to figure out the accommodation on our own.
Faculty: Exams are conducted quarterly each year. Since the course is for three years, exams are conducted 6 times throughout the course. Each semester will have external exams for 75 marks and internals for 25 marks. In the first year, we have all the subjects. In the second year, we need to choose two subjects. In the last year, there is only one subject which is required for our degree.

Placements: Our college provides a placement facility per year for students to get good jobs and a future. Many companies visit the campus for jobs. Our college provides placements and skill careers.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is good and clean. Its staff is helpful to students. They provide information about the hostel. The hostel is good for students and other foreign students.
Faculty: The college faculty is good. The college conducts exams very strictly. If they see any student copy, strict action is taken. Exams are held under the strict guidelines provided by the college. Professors are good at teaching.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college providing no placements and having higher fees.
Placements: Only sales and call centre jobs were offered by small firms that visited for the placements. The packages offered ranged between 15000 to 20000 only. There is no special placements cell in the college. The teachers just share the jobs on WhatsApp groups and the students apply from there.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is decent. They don't have their own ground. The canteen is always closed and no hostel facility is provided by the college. The college supports sports only if you are already good at it. The classrooms and labs are good with the teachers using projectors to teach.
Faculty: Majority teachers are good but a few of them come only to pass time. They don't bother about the students understanding anything, they don't even complete their portion on time. The students have to rely upon themselves to study for the exams regarding a few subjects, the rest are good.
