It is a very nice college for B.Pharma. It has well organised labs and good teachers.
Placements: There were no placements offered to us in our B. M. department. But the other department had their placements. But in our department companies like Zee TV, Radio FM 93.5, 104.0, used to come for internship purposes. All the media line channels like NDTV and Aaj Tak used to come for internship purposes. On placement basis, our college was below average.
Infrastructure: On an average, I will give 6 out of 10 rating to infrastructure and facilities. There was no Wi-Fi connection available, but our classrooms and library were decent enough. We also had a medicinal facility for emergency scenario. The computer lab and other lab rooms were advanced and good enough to operate. It was all advanced technology and clean. Our canteen had a decent amount of menu list. The quality of the food was also good. I shall give 7 out of 10 rating to food. There were no hostel rooms in our college.
Faculty: Our HOD, teachers, and principal, all were highly educated and qualified. They were very helpful and dignified people. They were super friendly and were ready to help students at any time. They used to guide us properly. We were taught with the help of projectors. The course curriculum was useful.
Other: Every department normally had its event hosted once a year. There was an event called Oreins which this college took part in and competed with each other. Campus crowd was average. Campus was just close to Sanpada station so it was very easy for students to reach out. Campus surrounding was whole station area so students had different varieties of restaurants to eat.

B.E. in Electronics and Computer Science - Batch of 2025

3.8
4Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Best infrastructure and events.
Placements: In my batch 2025 till now, almost 350 students got placed out of 650 something. One last semester is remaining until graduation. The highest salary package offered till now this year is around 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA by mass recruitment companies. Both technical and management roles are being offered during the placement process to students to choose and get into the company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also a big reason why students love this college. Every part of the college is developed as a hostel or something with the best lighting. This is the reason why tons of movie scenes and series are being shot on campus. We have great infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members are average, kind, and helpful to students regarding any curriculum doubts or anything regarding academics. The course curriculum is relevant as per the industry standards which makes it easy for students to compete in this market. Being an autonomous college, exams are not a tough or stressful part of this college.
Other: Thakur is known and is famous for its cultural and fashion kind of events. There is a beautiful campus. Many shot films and movies are being shot here.

Average - go for it only if you live in Navi Mumbai and don't want to travel a lot.
Placements: If you can get a better option, then do not come here. I have not seen the top companies coming out here; it may be average for MBA courses but not for other courses. Do not expect a good package after completing your studies at this place. It has quite a reputation but the reality is different.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty basic. The curriculum is also average. Benches are broken. Mics for lectures do not work. Old classrooms. Collects a good amount of money and donations but hardly anything on infrastructure. Not a great college at all.
Faculty: Annual fests are pretty nice. Exams and curriculum are decent. Teachers are qualified. The curriculum is not that great. Lecturers hardly seem to care. They do their jobs and leave. Though they are available for doubt-solving,. The college seems to be more invested in festivals.

It has fantastic faculty members and a good location.
Placements: Not many students got placed here, but students get an opportunity. If students are good at what they do then they might get placed as there is competition but their skills are what matters. Top recruiting companies like Indian Oil and Bajaj visit the college for placements. Many students got internships in firms like Monk Entertainment and other new startups. Top roles like marketing manager, finance, HR assistant, and senior manager are offered here.
Infrastructure: The library is amazing and aesthetic. The gymkhana is not the best but it is fine. We have a computer lab even though I am not in any CS course. The canteen is different as it serves unique food like non-vegetarian or something exclusive. We are a pinnacle of cricket as many great cricketers got out of our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best thing about the college. Teachers are the best here. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students star and they can ace in any aspect of marketing, finance, and HR. Almost 90% of students clear the exams as it is not hard to clear.
Other: I chose this course because BMS is a great course. It makes us ready for an MBA. Cricket is the sport of our college and they should focus on other sports as well. There are multiple fests and I like them. Fests are held in almost every department.

A day in a college without mannered students.
Placements: Placement opportunities at Valia are not good, as there are no good companies for students to get a job as a fresher and to get experience. Students have to search for jobs after completing their degree. There is not much support from the college to their students.
Infrastructure: The college campus is small. There is no good space to take a break and chill. The crowd is very low-class. The environment is not good to stay calm and stress-free. Student misbehavior is continuous in our college.
Faculty: We don't get a chance for re-exam if we miss an exam for any reason. There are no internal exams in college, we have to submit the assignments as internals. If someone misses submitting their assignment, there is no chance for a resubmission, and the students gets ATKT.
Other: The crowd of our college is of low quality and the students are not well-mannered.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college providing no placements and having higher fees.
Placements: Only sales and call centre jobs were offered by small firms that visited for the placements. The packages offered ranged between 15000 to 20000 only. There is no special placements cell in the college. The teachers just share the jobs on WhatsApp groups and the students apply from there.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is decent. They don't have their own ground. The canteen is always closed and no hostel facility is provided by the college. The college supports sports only if you are already good at it. The classrooms and labs are good with the teachers using projectors to teach.
Faculty: Majority teachers are good but a few of them come only to pass time. They don't bother about the students understanding anything, they don't even complete their portion on time. The students have to rely upon themselves to study for the exams regarding a few subjects, the rest are good.
