CBSE 12th Science Preparation 2025: All the students preparing for the CBSE Class 12th Science board examinations must cover the entire syllabus well in time. At least a month should be kept reserved for the revision of all the important things. Here are a few CBSE Class 12 preparation tips for Science which the students can follow in order to secure good marks in the examinations.

CBSE 12th Physics Preparation Tips

    1. Electromagnetic waves and Optics are the two units that carry 18 marks in total. These units are based on theoretical and numerical concepts and diagrams are the main part.
    2. Electronic devices has a weightage of 7 marks in total. A student requires logical skills to grasp this unit.
    3. Electrostatics, current electricity, magnetic effects of current and magnetism, electromagnetic induction and alternating currents are the four units of CBSE class 12 physics which have a lot of numerical and derivation based question.
    4. From dual nature of radiation and matter and atoms and nuclei units, there will be some questions asked for 12 marks.

After knowing about the syllabus and exam pattern, You need to choose a book to start their study. As per CBSE Class 12 Physics preparation tips, you should start with NCERT Books to grasp the concepts.   • Prepare for Practical Exams

The practical examination carries 30 marks in total and helps in scoring good marks. Students need to make a practical record of experiments and activities. They also have to make a project on the experiment or any activity as mentioned in Physics practical syllabus. Also prepare for Viva on experiments, activities and project to obtain good marks.

Scoring 90+ in class 12 chemistry paper is a challenging task for students. Chemistry is one of the most important papers of the science stream. Even though there is plenty to cover and very little time, a good study plan will help students cover the subject with ease. In return, it will also help them to score well in the CBSE 12th and a few other competitive exams such as JEE, NEET etc.

  • Topic-wise CBSE 12th Chemistry Preparation Tips

Practice and hard work are the keys to good performance in CBSE class 12 Board. Students should cover the solve the previous year's CBSE question papers. 

    • Chemistry in Everyday Life, Polymers and Bio-molecules carries 10 marks. It is advisable to cover these portions initially.
    • There will be at least three to four questions from Surface Chemistry, which is also an important section for competitive exams.
    • Stereo-chemistry, s, p, d, f block elements, transition elements, surface chemistry, nuclear chemistry, chemical equilibrium, gaseous state and coordination compounds are a few topics that are scoring and yet students find a little difficult. These sections must be covered thoroughly as apart from the class 12 exam, these are also covered in JEE and other exams.
    • There will be maximum questions from Raoult’s Law, Adsorption isotherm, Molar mass determination, Packing fraction. Cover these sections in detail.
    • Questions on numerical will be from sections such as Chemical Thermodynamics, Mole Concept, Solid State & Atomic Structure. There have always been questions from Molecular Orbital Theory and hence it is considered important.
