NTSE Result 2024 for Stage 1: All States and UTs are likely to release the NTSE 2024 result of Stage 1 on the official websites between February and May 2025. The NTSE 2024 Stage 1 exam will likely be conducted on November 4 and 5, 2024. The result will be announced in the form of a district-wise merit list. Students can click on the link below to check their NTSE Result 2024 soon after it is released.
Many states announce the NTSE Result in the form of a merit list that includes the names of all shortlisted candidates. Others release the NTSE scores for all participants along with a separate merit list. Also, along with the result, all states and UTs also release the NTSE cutoff 2023. The cutoff states the least marks a candidate needs to score in order to qualify for the stage 2 exam.
The NTSE was not held in 2022 and 2023, marking the first such omission in its 60-year history.
In 2021, SCERT Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Odisha, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Assam, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka released the NTSE Result 2021 on the official website. NTSE 2021 Stage I was conducted on December 12, 2020, for Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, on December 19 for Punjab and for some of the remaining states and UTs, on December 27 for Jammu & Kashmir, January 3 for Odisha, January 17 for West Bengal, on January 24 for Bihar, Kerala, and Karnataka and on February 21 for Telangana and HP.

NTSE stage 1 Result 2024 is expected to be announced by all states and UTs between February and May 2024. The candidates are intimated about NTSE 2024 stage 1 results by respective state/UT as and when announced. The NTSE results 2024 for Stage 1 mention the qualifying status of candidates in both the papers i.e. MAT and SAT. The result of NTSE stage 1 2024 is made available on the official website of the exam conducting authority of the respective state/UT. NTSE Stage 2 Result 2024: The National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT) is expected to release the NTSE 2023 Stage 2 Result in August/September 2025. Candidates can check the result using their exam roll number and date of birth on the official website of NTSE. The final answer keys and merit lists will also be released on the official NCERT website along with the result. The steps to check the final NTSE stage 2 result 2024 are mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of NCERT @ncert.nic.in
- Click on NTSE and then on Result of NTSE 2023 Stage 2
- A new page will open up
- Click on Final Result NTSE 2023
- Enter the Roll number and date-of-birth
- Submit details
- The result will appear on the screen
- Save and download
NCERT declares the final result of the National Talent Search Examination in the form of category-wise merit lists. Stage 2 cutoff marks are also released along with NTSE result 2024 for Stage 2.
The merit list of NTSE stage II will mention candidates' names, their father's name, and roll numbers. It will not mention scores or ranks for the stage II exam of NTSE. These candidates will be awarded the NTSE scholarship.
The result of NTSE stage 2 exam will be processed in online mode only and NCERT makes sure that there is no discrepancy in processing the results. Therefore, NCERT will not consider any request for re-checking/re-evaluating the results, if any candidate raises an objection to the scoring.

NTSE Cut Off 2019
NTSE cut off are the minimum marks a candidate needs to score in order to clear the NTS examination. Every state and UT releases its own NTSE 2020 cut off which is different from the qualifying cutoff. The minimum qualifying cutoff for NTSE 2020 is as mentioned below –
