The candidates should not mark the answers in the OMR sheet immediately, even if they know the answer. The candidates should try to mark the answers in batches. The batches can be of ten answers or five answers. This will help in reducing the answer marking time in the IAS prelims paper and the candidates will have more time for reading and thinking.
The candidates need to read a hundred questions and their four answer options. It is very difficult when coupled with anxiety and pressure.
