    The place I learnt and grew the most.
    Placements: We didn't really have placements for the department. But university placement had companies like Deloitte and Viacom come in. Mostly entry level executives were hired. Not sure about the salaries. In my course, most people prepared for higher studies and civil services.
    Infrastructure: We had an old British era building. We had rugby fields, gym, a sports complex. A very full and extensive library. The college has now expanded to have a girls' hostel in addition to boys' hostel, and a sprawling new wing. The canteen was renovated during my graduation days. It was spacious with a view of the rugby field with a huge variety of food available to us at all times of the day. We never cared much for AC classrooms or LCD projectors but now, the college has those and renovated toilets.
    Faculty: I was in Hindu College. I had excellent faculty. We had 35 to 40 students in the class, one professor, two associate professors and two assistant professors. All of them were highly competent. We also had some ad hoc assistant professors, they were okay too.
    Other: Mecca - the annual fest of Hindu College. Has a huge fan following with famous personalities gracing the event. I was a part of the Indian music society, alankaar. At that time we were at the top in competitions.

    I am doing political science honors from DU right now, can I opt for Masters in sociology after that?

    Yes, for sure. You can opt for a Masters in sociology. To continue pursuing studying from DU, you are required to clear the entrance examination.

    Can I take BA honors in sociology in University of Delhi? I got 58% in 12th commerce with maths stream.

    I think no, because last year the cut off touched 81%. Also, every college offers different cut-offs for different courses. You may check the previous year cut off in the below link : http://www.du.ac.in/du/index.php?page=cut-off-2017
