Best infrastructure, highly qualified professionals, quality placement and truly worth it.
Placements: Delhi technological University (DTU) is known for it's brilliant tech opportunities and many core companies also come for recruitment. In DTU from data of 2023, the highest package on campus is 82.05 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and average is 11 LPA. All top technical and core companies visit DTU like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, etc.
Infrastructure: DTU infrastructure is very well organized: AC classrooms, highly technical labs, bright classrooms, etc. Hostels are best for their cleanliness, hygiene, and mouthwatering food. 24x7 medical support is there. Sports complex with all types of gaming facilities like cricket, football, etc.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified, skilled, and very much experienced. Course curriculum is most effective here; all courses make you company-ready, and from this curriculum, teachers support, and hard work, you can crack a high-paying job at any company.
Other: Fee is high but worth it. SBI Bank is here on campus to facilitate education loans.

DTU: the dream of thousand students .
Placements: The placement is very good. 85% of tech companies come for electrical branches, and the highest CTC offered was 52 LPA in 2024 and more than 75% students get placed in top companies like Microsoft, Google, etc. The top roles it offers are software engineer, marketing manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, all sports grounds are available, and the library is also very good; there is a good number of books. But the hostels are very few. The Wi-Fi is available all over campus with decent speed. The canteen is so good and affordable in price.
Faculty: The faculty are very good and supportive, but the curriculum is not up to date; you have to study by yourself or develop some skills to get placed in good companies. The semester exams are not so difficult; almost every student passes in these exams. No, it does not make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose the college because there are good placement opportunities and good sports facilities the location is the major season because it located in Delhi. The fests are very good in DTU, like Engifest, which is the biggest fest in North India .

At the end it is a good choice.
Placements: As of now, I am in my final year. I started in 2021 with my batch. According to my seniors, around 70-80% of students were placed this year. The highest package goes up to 22 LPA, and the lowest is 7-8 LPA. Our top recruiting companies are Qualcomm, McKinsey, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Each department has its own separate building. The campus covers 171 acres of land, which is full of greenery, plants, trees, and flowers. There are also many monkeys and dogs on the campus. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, from the departments to the hostel and mess. The mess food and hostel food are decent—not top-notch but not too bad either. There is a hospital and a bank located on the campus. The sports complex is huge and well-maintained, and intercollege sports competitions are also organized on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and have received many national and international medals. Some teachers are very helpful. Regarding exams, they are held on our campus and are set by the subject coordinator and the teachers together. Almost all students pass, except for 3-4% of students.
Other: In DTU, you get admission based on your rank by taking the JEE Main Exam, which is held all over India twice a year. I got into the EE course, which is the core branch of the college. You receive instruction from some of the best teachers in India for this course. Overall, it is a good course. College life is enjoyable, with many fests held throughout the year on campus, organized by college societies. There are many societies in the college, such as the dancing society, poetry society, craft society, business society, debate society, etc.

DTU - A college with great heights.
Placements: Almost 70% of the batch in electrical is placed. The highest package offered is 51 LPA (Microsoft), the lowest package offered is 3 LPA (TCS), and the average package offered is around 10-12 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Siemens, Texas Instruments, etc. Around 20% of the batch got internships on campus, and the roles offered are for hardware, software, non-teaching, analyst, GET, and many more roles.
Infrastructure: The old hostels do not have AC, so in summers, it is difficult to live there, but in winters, it is fine. However, in the new hostels, there is AC, making it comfortable to live in. For non-AC rooms, single and double occupancy is available, and for the new buildings, triple sharing is available. The food quality is fine. The labs do not have much equipment, and the classrooms are old, but for the new buildings, the classrooms are quite nice. The library has a variety of books to study. A medical center is available for any emergencies. The sports facility is very good; there is a large ground for football, cricket, and courts for tennis, badminton, basketball, and many other games are available. The college also has a gym.
Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable but not very interested in teaching. They are not much help, and the teaching quality is also average. Students have to study on their own to clear the exams. Also, the curriculum is outdated, which does not make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult and can be cleared by studying two weeks before the exam. DTU follows the pattern of relative grading.
Other: I have a deep interest in electrical engineering and wanted to pursue a career in the VLSI field. The course offered me guidance to crack the companies, and the best thing about the course is that we can go into any field after this, be it any government exam, PSUs, CAT, MS, etc. There are endless opportunities. The outdated curriculum is the biggest drawback, and practical knowledge is also lacking, which should be improved. The college provides excellent exposure through extracurricular activities like organizing fests, and there are many clubs for every domain for exposure in each field. The campus is lush green, clean, and refreshing. The college is well-connected; it is approximately 2 km from the metro station, easily reachable by auto. The college also provides scholarships to economically weaker students and to meritorious students for their excellent performance.

The DTU college experience in 2024.
Placements: I got an electrical engineering branch allotted at the time of admission. It's a kind of tough course. In 2024, 65% of students got placement. With the highest package of 44 LPA. Average package is approximately 11 LPA this year due to recession. Otherwise, the average package is around 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: In DTU, many facilities are provided, mainly a sports complex, a gym, a theater, two halls, an auditorium, and many more. Hostel is kind of okay. Mess is somewhat small, but taste is good more or less. Inside the campus, a medical centre is there. They care for us like parents.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are great, but some are as strict as they can cut the marks on a very small mistake. They are mostly highly experienced. Course curriculum is old, so everyone is doing something more to be ready for jobs. Semester are tough somewhat.
Other: The fee of the college is higher than expected, according to the government college. Campus life is great. Fest is the life of DTU. These are the best in Delhi.

For admission to most of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at Delhi Technological University, students are required to score 50% to 60% minimum aggregate in their last qualifying degree or course to be eligible. Q:   How can I get admission in DTU?

    A:

To get admission to BTech at DTU, go to the site of JAC Delhi and register yourself and according to the schedule attend the counseling. On the day of counseling bring all the required certificates as mentioned on the website of JAC Delhi. The list will come out on the website itself and you are done after paying all the fees. The admission is solely dependent on the rank in JEE MAIN. Check all the cutoffs of the previous years before attending the counselling.

Q:   Can I get admission in DTU? I have not appeared for JEE mains.

    A:

The admission criteria for BTech at DTU clearly state that JEE Mains rank is considered for the selection of eligible candidates. Therefore, it is suggested to get qualifying scores at JEE Mains for admission at DTU. Additionally, students are also required to go through the JAC counselling process to get a seat at Delhi Technological University. After the result of JEE Main, JAC counselling for seat allotment is usually conducted in four rounds. However, there are additional spot rounds conducted for vacant seats (if available).

Q:   How is the placement at DTU?

    A:

The key highlights related to Delhi Technological University placements 2024 are tabulated below:

    ParticularsPlacement Statistics (2024)
the highest packageINR 85.30 LPA (Domestic)

Q:   Can I get DTU with 80 percentile in JEE Main via JAC Delhi?

    A:
Usually, the cutoff for DTU stays around 90, even for the reserved categories. Therefore, getting into B.Tech courses at DTU is difficult with a JEE Main percentile score of 90 or below. The cutoff also goes high and low every year, depending on the following factors: Number of aspirants registered, The difficulty level of the exam, Total number of seats available, total number of applications received for a particular program, and the category under which admission is sought. Therefore, it is very difficult to predict the exact cutoff and give an exact answer to this question.
