Admission to the BTech programme is done basis JEE Main score followed by JAC Delhi Counselling. For Delhi-based students, admission to BTech CSD and CSSS programmes is done basis of UCEED rank and Class 12 marks, respectively. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 4554 and closing rank was 4659 in 2023. The cutoff in 2024 for the all-India quota ranged from 6695 to 9975. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Biosciences in IIIT Delhi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

In 2022, the cutoff ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIIT Delhi for categories other than General category was - 13261 for OBC, 19722 for SC, 79077 for ST, and 7374 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. IIIT Delhi admit candidates to a few courses without any entrance examination. The highest domestic package offered during IIIT Delhi BTech 2023 placements was INR 51.03 lakh. Additionally, in DTU, the highest package offered in 2022 was INR 64.23 lakh.
