Kerala 12th Preparation 2025: Tips, Strategy & Guide

Following are some tips for those who are preparing for the Kerala 12th exam 2025.

• Make a proper time table: Students should make a time table and learn accordingly. Create the most effective study timetable for regular activities. Make sure your objectives aren't too challenging to meet. Fix them in accordance with the capacity and effectiveness to adhere to each deadline.
• Check the syllabus: It is essential to read the syllabus book cover to cover. It will help if one familiarises with the complete syllabus before they start studying. Try to finish the course material before the test.
• Update the curriculum: Studying produces no results if it is not corrected. Diligent effort and careful planning will be useless if one does not revises what one has learned. It's essential to read the chapters twice or three times so as to retain the ideas.
• Examine the errors: Glance through the areas of improvement and strong points after taking a practice test or writing a paper from a previous year. The crucial details can also be written down in a different notebook.
• Assignments and Projects: The most important thing is to remember to prepare for PE and preserve a good record in the submission of assignments and projects for CE while preparing for the theoretical component of the Terminal Examination (TE).
• Maintain balanced nutrition: Drink plenty of water and consume wholesome, home-cooked food. Avoid junk food and foreign cuisine in the months leading up to the exam. Your health could be affected right away. Additionally, you cannot afford to fall ill in the crucial months preceding the exam.
• Read textbooks thoroughly: The textbooks for the Kerala board are a comprehensive source of all the knowledge you require to complete your full course. The textbooks are made to assist in successfully and intuitively organising the curriculum. This means that your main source for preparation should always be your textbooks. Only after carefully reading the textbooks should one refer to any guides or supplemental reading material.
• Practice previous years' question papers and sample papers: Kerala Plus Two sample papers will help students manage time while answering different types of questions. Sample papers help identify the strong and weak areas, the frequently asked topics, the marking scheme, and mark distribution across topics. The previous year's question papers and answer keys shall help students prepare well and will make them aware of the depth of questions and guide them accordingly so that they can strategies their preparation. 

• After doing a mock test or previous year paper, evaluate your mistakes and strong areas. One can also note the important points down in a separate notebook. 
• Most importantly, while one prepares for the theoretical portion of Terminal Examination (TE), do not forget to prepare yourself for Practical Exam and keep a good record in the submission of assignments and projects for CE.
