Following are some tips for students preparing for the TN SSLC exam 2025.

Revision

Regular revision is very important for scoring better marks. This will help students to memorize the topics faster. It will also help students to save time during the exam since they remember the topics faster. Students should revise daily from their textbooks, and reference books that they already had and the notes that they prepared.

Make Short notes

Students are advised to make short notes of important formulas and theories while learning a chapter. These short notes are helpful when there is only few days left for the board exam. They can stick the meanings and definitions of vital topics and concepts on walls and the places they visit often so that they remain fresh in their minds. Highlight the important points with various colored highlighters as the colors build up the remembering rate of minds. Also, by highlighting important formulas, student can find them easily whenever needed.

Follow your lessons

Following the lessons taught in class is the best method of understanding different concepts and theories in your TN SSLC syllabus. Always try to avoid missing classes, concentrate, and try to take in the meaning and reasons behind every explanation rather than developing the habit of by-hearting. Make it a habit to revise your daily lessons; in that way you can ask you teacher your doubts the following day. In this way, you will have a clear head and a better knowledge on the topic. Study at home
Students should refrain from spending their time in unnecessary activities like mobile phones, television, and overeating. They should develop the habit of studying new topics every day at home. Students who are appearing for their 10th exam should keep in mind that it is their first time giving a public examination. Students should not take their time for granted and should work hard towards their respective goals. Students have the freedom to be creative in choosing their place to study at their homes. But they should remember that their study place should be free from any disturbance and provide enough illumination.

Students should pick up the habit of writing long papers and writing them without any breaks. Solving sample papers and the TN SSLC previous years’ question papers will also make students familiar with important topics and free them from surprise elements during the final exam. It will also help students to understand the TN exam pattern and difficulty level. These question papers are available in libraries. This will train students to write their answers perfectly and also enable them to have a better idea of the format of the question paper. Students can also practice the questions given below for each topic in their textbooks and practice books. 

Maintain health

Students should refrain from consuming junk food at all costs to avoid becoming sick during the final exams. Healthy intake of food will not only help keep themselves fit but also relaxes their mind from unnecessary thoughts and distractions. Some of the healthy activities that students can practice for better concentration power are yoga, jogging, meditation, etc. Exercises will also eliminate the lethargic behavior of students and keep them fresh and attentive for a longer period of time. Only a healthy body and mind will not let the hard work go to waste.
