Rather, more questions were asked from Reasoning, Communication and Teaching Aptitude sections." Regarding online mode of UGC NET exam, Mohit said, “One problem that many candidates faced in paper-I was that the unseen passage was not opening properly. We had to scroll the page again and again to read the passage properly. However, the case was not the same in paper-II of UGC NET.” Mohit had opted Mass Communication subject for paper-II of UGC NET.

Another candidate, Pradip took UGC NET for the second time for History paper. Regarding paper-I of UGC NET, Pradip said, “I took UGC NET for the second time this year. First paper of the exam was similar to various banking exams (such as SBI PO, IBPS PO, SBI Clerk and IBPS Clerk).” Regarding UGC NET exam pattern, Pradip shared, “Pattern of paper-I was similar to that of last year. However, the only difference was that this year paper was conducted in online mode. Other than that, in terms of number of questions and marking scheme, paper-I was same as last year and I did not feel much difficulty in attempting the paper.”
