Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC CSE 2023 Final Result mentioning the names of 1016 candidates. The UPSC CSE 2023 Toppers List includes the names of the candidates who qualified for the recommendation to the Ministry of Personnel. Aditya Srivastava topped the UPSC CSE 2023 Exam. In the female category, Ruhani topped the exam by achieving All India Rank - 5.

UPSC Toppers 2023: The UPSC CSE Final Result 2023 has been announced. Aditya Srivastava topped the UPSC CSE 2023 exam. The Commission selected 1016 candidates in the CSE 2023 Final Merit List. The Commission also mentioned the names of the UPSC Toppers in the Civil Service Result PDF. The Commission will recommend these candidates to the Ministry of Personnel for appointment to different services. The candidates who appeared in the IAS interview were required to appear in a medical examination. This medical examination is conducted by various medical hospitals as designated by UPSC. The IAS exam is a yearly affair which is conducted to recruit candidates for the All India Services and Central Civil Services.

Aditya Srivastava Topped UPSC CSE 2023

Aditya Srivastava from Lucknow topped the Civil Service Exam 2023. He done his B.Tech+ M.Tech dual degree from IIT Kanpur. He was working as an Analyst in the Goldman Sach. 

Q:   When was the IAS 2024 Notification released?

A:

The UPSC IAS 2024 notification was released on February 14, 2024. The notification included important dates, the number of vacancies, the syllabus, and all the criteria for appearing in the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Candidates can apply for the UPSC IAS application form until March 5, 2024.  There are 1056 UPSC vacancies in the IAS 2024 exam.

The IAS Exam for 2024 prelims phase will take place on May 26, 2024. The minimum age to fill the IAS 2024 application is 21 years and the maximum age is 32 years. Age relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to certain categories.

Q:   What is the IAS 2024 Prelims Exam Date?

A:

UPSC has postponed the IAS 2024 prelims exam. The IAS 2024 exam will now be conducted on June 16, 2024.  The Union Public Service Commission mentioned that because of the General Election the Commission decided to postpone the Civil Service Prelims exam.

The Commission released the UPSC calendar 2024 mentioning the notification, the last date of application and the exam dates. The IAS 2024 notification will be released on February 14 and the last date to apply for the IAS exam 2024 was March 6, 2024.

Q:   How was the IAS 2023 Prelims Exam?

A:

The IAS 2023 Prelims exam was held on May 28th, 2023. The exam was moderately to difficult overall, with the General Studies Paper 1 being moderate to difficult and the GS Paper 2 CSAT being very lengthy. The exam also included more questions from the Environment and Geography section, and fewer questions from current affairs and international relations. The exam pattern changed, with altered Assertion and Reason questions, and a new format for multiples.

The cut-off for the exam was expected to be between 82 and 85, compared to 88 in 2022. Only 14,624 students scored above the cut-off and were eligible to proceed to the Mains round.

Some students who took the CSAT paper said it was very difficult, and some even approached the courts against the UPSC. Even some candidates files a petition against the difficulty level of the IAS prelims GS-2 (CSAT) paper.

UPSC CSE Toppers 2022

Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC CSE Result 2023 on May 28, 2023. Ishita Kishore secured rank 1 in the exam and topped the Civil Service (IAS) exam 2022. She has graduated in Economics (Hons.) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. The Commission released the UPSC rank list 2022 on its official website - upsc.gov.in

Garima Lohia secured rank 2 in the coveted exam. She is a graduate of Commerce from Kirorimal College, University of Delhi, and secured second rank with Commerce and Accountancy as her optional subject.

Q:   Is the UPSC Exam Calendar 2025 released?

A:

The Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC Exam Calendar 2025 on April 25, 2024. The Commission released the notification, application and the exam dates in the official exam calendar. The IAS 2025 prelims exam will be conducted on May 25, 2025. The Commission preponed the IAS main exam by one month to August. The IAS main 2025 exam will be conducted from August 22, 2025.

The Commission do not mention the dates for the UPSC admit card in the official exam calendar.

Q:   What is IAS 2025 Prelims Exam Date?

A:

The Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC IAS 2025 prelims and main exam date. The Commission will release the IAS 2025 notification online on January 22, 2025. The last date for the IAS 2025 application will be February 11, 2025. The Commission will conduct the IAS 2025 prelims exam on May 25, 2025.

The IAS main exam 2025 will be conducted from August 22, 2025. The Commission preponed the main exam by one month.

Q:   Will there be an IAS exam in 2024?

A:

UPSC conducted the UPSC 2024 exam on June 16, 2024. Earlier, the Commission postponed the IAS prelims 2024 exam from May 26 because of the General Elections in the country. The Commission also released the IAS prelims result 2024 on June 28, 2024. The Commission will conduct the IAS main exam 2024 from September 20.

Q:   How many exam centres are there in UPPSC Prelims exam 2024?

A:

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is planning to conduct the UPPSC Prelims exam 2024 in 41 districts of the state. There are 75 districts in the State. Last year, the UPPSC PCS prelims exam was conducted in 51 districts. Earlier the UPPSC prelims exam was conducted in around 25 cities in the state. 

The UPPSC 2024 prelims exam will be conducted on December 7 & 8, 2024. The Commission is expected to release the UPPSC 2024 admit card on November 27, 2024 in its official website - uppsc.up.nic.in.

Q:   When will IAS 2025 notification be released?

A:

The Union Public Service Commission will release the IAS 2025 notification on January 22. 2025. The IAS notification will notify the number of vacancies, syllabus, exam pattern, eligibility, age limit and other rules which will govern the exam. The last date to apply online for the IAS 2025 exam will be February 11, 2025.

The IAS 2025 exam will be conducted on May 25, 2025.

Uma Harithi N secured rank 3 in the UPSC IAS exam 2022. She is a graduate (B Tech.) in Civil Engineering from IIT, Hyderabad stood third in the rank with Anthropology as her optional subject.

The names of the UPSC toppers 2022 will be updated here after the declaration of UPSC result 2022.

The Commission released the UPSC Toppers list 2022 in the result pdf. The selected candidates will be allocated to the All-India Service and Central Civil Service based on rank, preference, category and the vacancy in that category. UPSC toppers will serve as the guiding light and share their strategy with the IAS aspirants which can help them immensely. UPSC exam was conducted last year and the Commission conducted the interviews till May 18, 2023.

UPSC Toppers List 2021

UPSC Toppers 2021 names, ranks and roll numbers were released with the official UPSC result 2021. UPSC selected 685 candidates for recommendations to the appointment authorities. Shruti Sharma topped the most coveted Civil Service Exam 2021 with the highest marks in the IAS main (written) exam. Ankita Agarwal stood second in the overall UPSC toppers list. Gamini Singla secured the third rank in the exam. All the top three positions were bagged by girls. Aishwarya Verma secured the fourth rank and was the topper in the Men category. UPSC also released the UPSC Toppers Marks.

UPSC's final merit list is prepared based on the aggregate marks achieved in the Civil Service Main (written) exam and the marks scored in the UPSC Personality test. UPSC arranges all the candidates in the order of their marks and prepares the final merit list, providing them with ranks. The number of IAS vacancies is limited to 180 every year and after applying the reservation policy, only a handful of selected candidates are allotted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in the unreserved category.

UPSC Toppers 2021

The UPSC Civil Service (IAS) result 2020 was declared on September 24, 2021, and their marks were released on September 28. Shubham Kumar from Bihar secured the first rank in the UPSC exam 2020. Jagruti Awasthi stood second in the UPSC merit list. She was the topper among females. Ankita Jain was at rank three in the UPSC final merit list.

UPSC IAS result 2019 was released on August 4, 2020. Pradeep Kumar from Haryana topped the Civil Service Exam 2019. He was earlier selected in the SSC CGL exam and was working as an assistant in one of the Central Government departments. Delhi’s Jatin Kishore secured rank two in the exam. He was earlier selected for Indian Economic Service (IES). The third rank was secured by Uttar Pradesh’s Pratibha Verma. She was working as an officer in the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). Approximately 8 to 10 lakh candidates fill the UPSC application for Civil Service Exam every year and around 5 to 6 Lakh candidates appear in the prelims exam. The Union Public Service Commission is expected to release the UPSC IAS admit card 2024 soon on its official website - upsc.gov.in. The Commission will conduct the IAS main exam 2024 from September 20, 2024. The IAS main exam will be conducted at the weekends only.
