Adventurous College with tons of greenery.
Placements: To get eligible for the companies, you should not have any active backlog, so due to this, many get disqualified from the race of placements. Around 70 percent of students are placed. In Chemical, top recruiting companies are Reliance, JSW, etc. The average package is around 9 LPA, with the highest being 22 LPA and the lowest may be around 6-7.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is great. Recently, a new LH is made. There is a big library where you can study in different reading hall areas. There are different hostels according to years, and about food, it's eatable; you will get used to it after some time.
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified; they have their M.Tech from IITs. The curriculum is up to the mark, whatever is required. The exams are conducted two times: mid-sem and end-sem. The mid-semester exams are of 30 marks, and end-sem exams are of 50 marks.

B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2025

Good placements and college life, but faculty are not up to the mark.
Placements: My batch will be passing out in 2025. The batch before was placed with an 80 percent placement rate, with the highest offer being 53 LPA and the average package around 10 LPA. The lowest package offered was 6.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies in the core domain included Reliance Industries, Tata Steel, EIL, etc.
Infrastructure: The chemical department is a newly built department with Wi-Fi, lifts, classrooms without air conditioners, and labs that are not great, as many machines are not working properly. Talking about hostels, they are only livable, as the rooms built for accommodating two people are being used to accommodate four students, and almirahs are not in good condition, with termites attacking half of them. The quality of food is one thing where the college shines, as there are no cases of insects sticking out of the food, and hygiene is maintained properly. Every student has medical facilities, but they are open only until 6 pm. For sports and games, there is a newly constructed activity room that solves every indoor games problem, and there is also a big ground with a basketball court and a lawn tennis court.
Faculty: The faculty is not good at all. It depends only on the student itself to crack the placements because the faculty does not care whether you get placed or not. There are very few permanent faculty, and many professors are on a contract basis. The course curriculum is outdated as usual, and it will not help students to be industry-ready. Semester exams are easy; anyone who has solved the previous year's questions thoroughly can score good marks. It is advised to maintain at least 80 percent or an 8 CGPA.
Other: The college is located in a remote area. Though it is easily accessible by roads, many companies will not prefer it that way and will try to skip visiting it. Presently, no PSUs are visiting for core placements. The campus is located in a very good lush green environment, but the hostels are very crowded, with each room accommodating four people until last year when we get a single room.

Good environment overall, but the hostels are of very bad quality, with several water problems.
Placements: Around 76 students are in my batch. The highest package for chemical engineering last year (2023) was 52 lakh, while the lowest is not specified. The top recruiter was HUL (Hindustan Unilever), and a total of 100% of students got placed last year, with an average package of around 10 lakh.
Infrastructure: Most of the faculty is knowledgeable and good, but some teachers are quite rude and misbehave. Certain lectures can be hard to understand because of the teachers' accents. They also frequently remind us that we are beneath them, which I feel is inappropriate when addressing freshers.
Faculty: Some teachers have very good knowledge and behavior, while others are rude and misbehave. They try to portray themselves as superior while ensuring that even the slightest mistakes are pointed out at every opportunity.

If you want a campus life which is surrounded by nature then please come here.
Placements: The placements in our college is increasing. In last two years it was down because of pandemic. But this year core placements are good. Many company visited here including Psu's. If you are a decent student throughout 4 years you will get the placements easily.
Infrastructure: In whole campus Wi-Fi is available 24*7, and talking about the department and labs they are well maintained. Quality of mess food is decent, but the only bad thing about this college is that there is no night canteen in this college but there are many outlets inside the college like AMUL, VERKA, NESCAFE, etc.
Faculty: Faculty are well qualified and had done their studies from renowned institutes of the country. They are very supportive and always keen to help you in your academics. If you are regular in classes you will pass the exams very easily. But one thing is that teachers are very particular about the attendance. So it's mandatory to attend 75% of classes.

Overall the college is good with good infrastructure.
Placements: The placement are on an average of 10 to 11 LPA, including all branch wise. At top, in terms of placement is CSE, after that is ECE, electrical, mechanical and then chemical. One more thing placement depends on you, how you improve yourself here.
Infrastructure: Campus wise the college is good but you have some restrictions in beginning of 1st year but overall it is good to take admission. There is no issue regarding mess food. It is decent as expected but the infrastructure is awesome. It is surrounded by mountains and trees.
Faculty: You will have a little bit academic pressure but the faculty is awesome. The teachers are highly knowledgeable, you won't have any issue regarding studies. There is a library too in which there are a lot of books. There is a study room also in campus, you will feel free to study.
