What is Aerospace Engineering?
Aerospace engineering is a field for those who have dreamed of designing aeroplanes or spacecraft. The industry of aerospace is responsible not only for the ease of travel but also for our explorations beyond our planet. The aerospace industry is booming, from NASA to Boeing, and is also ready for new innovations. Therefore, we can say that aerospace engineering is a branch of engineering that provides skills and knowledge to design, manufacture, and maintain spacecraft, aircraft, missiles, and weapons systems.
A large part of Aerospace Engineering deals with mechanical engineering and covers a wide range of topics, including computer application, structures, mathematics, physics, drafting, electricity, robotics, aeronautics, etc. The two aspects of engineering are also covered, namely Aeronautical Engineering and Astronomical Engineering.
As per the students' review, aerospace engineering is considered one of the toughest branches of engineering. However, if studied properly with dedication and focus, it will give the best results for the students and give wings to their career.
Aerospace Engineering: Eligibility Criteria (UG and PG)
To pursue Aerospace engineering, a candidate must meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Check below for the minimum eligibility for Aerospace Engineering.
For a Diploma in Aerospace Engineering
To pursue a diploma in aerospace engineering, candidates should pass a class 10th exam with science and math as the compulsory subjects. Students in the general category must have 50%, while students in the reserved category must have 45%.
Candidates with three-four year degree in Engineering, technical diploma, five-year Architecture, Postgraduates in Mathematics/Science/Statistics/Computer Applications are also eligible to pursue Aerospace Engineering.
