This college can be a bit stressfull sometimes, but overall a dream college for all.
Placements: 80 to 90% of students got placed last year. The placement ratio is pretty good. No data on the highest and the lowest package is known as of right now. For my course, in the core, the top recruiters are OIL, pharmaceutical companies, and Indian Oil. Non-core recruiters are all that recruit in all branches. No data for internship percentage. No idea about the roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The labs are in holder buildings known as blocks. They are a bit worn down due to them being pretty old. Rest no information. Regarding hostels, it is a bit cramped. Three people are allotted a room for two. Sometimes water supply gets shut off at night. For sports, there is a badminton and basketball court and a Table tennis table. Wi-Fi is also good. Food can be bad sometimes.
Faculty: Not many ideas regarding this since I am a first-year student where all the courses are common for all and nothing branch specific is taught. Right now in the first year of Sem 1 courses in electrical, CS Physics and Maths are taught. The teachers are good. I don't think it is that relevant since what is the use of an electrical course for someone pursuing chemical engineering? Passing is not that difficult but maintaining a good CGPA definitely is.

Good college having excellent faculty and good placements.
Placements: Placement has declined significantly in the recent years in terms of packages offered. The companies take only the top students. In my branch, the opportunities are decent with a large number of students moving towards teaching or consulting.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is above average and usually as fast as 5G in hostels. Mess serves decent food but with same menu. We have a lot of outlets inside the campus itself. We also have night mess in each hostel the quality of which varies from hostel to hostel. The campus has a hospital too.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and a majority of them are quite understanding. However some are very particular about their courses and are extremely strict about attendance policies. The curriculum seems to be very useful, which includes mechanical workshops and Chemistry labs practical. The difficulty level of semester exams vary each year.
Other: I chose the college and not the course. The crowd is extremely achieving. The events are decent, and in the recent years have decreased in terms of quality.

IIT Delhi stands out as the best among other IITs.
Placements: Around 70 to 85 percent of students are placed every year. The highest package is approximately 65 LPA, while the lowest package is around 6 LPA. Companies like Indian Oil, Indian Gas, etc. visit the campus, but most students are placed in teaching roles. The internship offers are also commendable.
Infrastructure: The facilities at IIT Delhi are quite satisfactory, but the infrastructure leaves much to be desired. The old hostels accommodate three students per room, and the quality of routine food is subpar. Additionally, the Wi-Fi speed is very slow. However, the medical facilities are commendable.
Faculty: The teaching staff at IIT Delhi are graduates from some of the best universities. The curriculum is robust, but the semester exam papers are extremely challenging. This has led to students feeling overwhelmed, with some even contemplating suicide. It is a humble request to reconsider the exam pattern.
Other: I chose the Chemical Engineering department at IIT Delhi because it is one of the branches I am passionate about. Additionally, the placement opportunities at IIT Delhi are excellent, which influenced my decision.

Honest review on IIT Delhi.
Placements: Internships are good. IIT Delhi has the culture of entrepreneurship. Placement season for this year will be coming soon and many companies are coming in this year as always including Google, Microsoft, Big4, Apple, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: The lecture halls are well maintained, library has a vast variety of books, opens almost 24 hours daily with barely any holidays. The hostels are not really good but mostly it depends on the hostel you are allotted. Some are comfy and new. The PhDs and the MTechs get really good hostel with ACs, the mess food is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, approachable and helpful. Some courses have outdated syllabus (they are going to be changed soon) but rest are fine. The CSE branch is most sought.

The dream college - IIT Delhi.
Placements: My college offers top-notch placements, with maximum packages reaching 4 crore in international companies like Jane Street, Amazon, and Microsoft. The average package is around 20L and varies by branch; for instance, CS has the highest average package of approximately 30 lakhs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent, with three lecture halls and two additional halls for classes and labs. The labs are high-tech and well-equipped, and professors teach lab work efficiently, making the experiments very useful.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and supportive. They are very helpful with our studies, especially during exams. The curriculum is well-structured, focusing more on practical knowledge than theoretical learning.
Other: The events are diverse, with various fests and tech events. The cultural fest, Rendezvous, is well-organized, and the tech fest, Trust, attracts a huge crowd every year.
