NIRF 2024 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2024 rankings, IIT Delhi ranks #2 under the category 'Engineering'.
The GATE 2025 registration process with late fee is closed now for admission to the MTech course. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
A few more updates are given below:
- JEE Main 2025 Session 1 registration has closed for IIT Delhi admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam is scheduled to be held from Jan 22 to Jan 31, 2025.
- The JEE Advanced 2025 exam date has been announced for the BTech course. As per the official website, the JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be conducted on May 18, 2025. Further, the application form will be released in Apr 2025.
- UCEED registration 2025 with a late fee is ended for IIT Delhi admission to the B.Des course. The UCEED 2025 exam is scheduled for Jan 19, 2025.
- The IIT JAM 2025 online registration process for admission to the MSc course has closed now. The IIT JAM 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Feb 2, 2025.
- CEED registration 2025 with a late fee is closed for IIT Delhi admission to the M.Des course. As per the schedule, the CEED 2025 exam date is Jan 19, 2025.
- Indian Institute of Technology Delhi PhD and MS (By Research) Jan 2025 Test/Interview will be scheduled between Dec 9 and Dec 16, 2024. For Joint PhD (Jan 2025 intake) Round 2 offers will sent on Dec 9, 2024 and the selected candidates will have to accept the same by Dec 16, 2024.
- MBA 2025 applications are open, and the last date to apply is Jan 24, 2025, tentatively.
- Executive programme for Advanced Product Management 2025 applications are open, and the last date is Dec 15, 2024.

Candidates willing to get admission to various courses must apply online on the official website. At the UG level, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) offers BTech and various other courses to students. IIT Delhi Admission Process and Important Dates 2025
The mode of Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) admission is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and others. Candidates willing to get admission to various courses must apply online on the official website. Select the required course and pay the application fee. Fill out and submit the application form with the required information. Candidates must submit the scanned copies of the below-mentioned documents while filling out the application form in online mode:
- First and last pages of Aadhar Card/ Voter ID Card/ Passport
- PAN Card
- Admission offer letter
- The latest passport-size photographs
- Medical certificate (in case of full-time candidates)
- Entrance exam scorecard
- No objection certificate (only in case of part-time applicants)
- Qualifying degree certificate
- Qualifying exam mark sheet

IIT Delhi Faculty
IIT Delhi has a wide array of faculty comprising over 650 teaching staff with an excellent faculty-to-student ratio of 1:8. Out of the highly qualified and competent teaching faculty, around 99.82% of the professors are PhD degree holders from some of the top institutions across the world in relevant fields. IIT Delhi follows a semester pattern, namely summer and winter semesters, and releases the results of each semester soon after the commencement of the respective examinations. IIT Delhi results can be checked by visiting the official website of the Deemed University. Candidates can access the result by entering their mandatory details, such as registration number and programme. Follow the below-given steps to check the IIT Delhi results:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT Delhi (www.iitd.ac.in).
Step 2: On the home page, click on the ‘Students’ tab.
Step 3: From the drop-down menu, click on the ‘Results’ tab.
Step 4: A page with asking details, such as the registration number will appear.
Step 5: Enter the necessary details and click on the ‘Login’ button.
Step 6: A result sheet will be displayed on the screen. Candidates can also download the result card.

How to Reach IIT Delhi?
Prepaid and metered taxis are available from all major Railway stations and IGI Domestic and International airports. Nearest Railway station is New Delhi and Anand Vihar. IIT Delhi Metro Station is on the Magenta line (Terminal 1 of the IGI Airport is also on this line). Gate 1 is nearest to the Academic Buildings/ Central Library/ Seminar Hall. A shuttle bus can be availed from IGI Airport Terminal 3 to Terminal 1, and the same metro route as above can be used. Another convenient option to reach IIT Delhi is to arrive at the Hauz Khas Metro Station (Yellow Line), about 2.5 km from the IIT Delhi Campus. At the Hauz Khas Metro station, you can change to Magenta Line to reach the IIT Delhi Metro Station or take the Auto to the Main Building of IIT Delhi.
