CSIR NET Shift Timings 2024: Dec Subject-Wise Paper Timing, Exam Date & Instructions

The CSIR NET 2024 exam for the December session will start from February 28 and end on March 2, 2025. CSIR NET 2024 Exam Shift Timings

CSIR NET 2024 Exam: The exam-conducting authority released the CSIR NET 2024 exam schedule, subject-wise exam dates, and shift timings on the official website for the December session. The CSIR NET 2024 exam will be conducted from February 28 to March 2, 2025. It will be conducted in two shifts, namely shift 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and shift 2 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The authority will soon release the CSIR NET 2024 admit card. It is mandatory for a candidate to bring an admit card with a valid photo ID to the CSIR NET examination hall. The CSIR NET 2024 June session exam will be conducted online. The CSIR NET exam for the Dec session will be conducted from February 28 to March 2, 2025.

CSIR NET 2024 Dec Exam Timings 2024

CSIR NET 2024: Exam Day Instructions

The NTA released the CSIR NET 2024 Admit Card for the June session. The CSIR NET exam 2024 will commence on July 25, 2024. The admit card is a crucial document that needs to be carried by the candidates in the examination hall. Without it candidates will not be allowed to take the CSIR NET exam. • Candidates should arrive at the exam centre at the time indicated in the CSIR NET 2024 admit card as the reporting time.
• Once the examination centre gate is closed, candidates will not be allowed to enter.
• Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination.
• After the completion of the exam, candidates need to wait for the invigilator's instructions. One by one candidates are allowed to come out of the examination hall.
• The CSIR NET admit card is provisional, subject to satisfying the CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria 2024 as given in the Information Bulletin.
• It is advised to the candidates to verify the examination centre a day in advance so that they do not face any sort of problems on the examination day. 
• If religion or customs require you to wear specific attire, then please visit the exam centre a little early for thorough checking and frisking.
• The candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination centre without an admit card, self-declaration undertaking, valid ID proof, and proper frisking.
• The candidate also needs to enter the required details in the Self Declaration (Undertaking) in legible handwriting, paste their photograph, and put a thumb impression at the appropriate place on the admit card. This needs to be done before reaching the exam centre.
• PwBD candidates (with a disability of 40% and more) will be allowed an extra 20 minutes per hour of the examination.
• It is also important for PwBD candidates to bring a PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority if claiming relaxation under the PwBD category. The scribe provided by the NTA must also carry his or her own Self Declaration (Undertaking) regarding educational qualification, passport-size photograph, valid government identity, and self-declaration (Undertaking).
• Candidates are not allowed to carry personal belongings, electronic devices, or mobile phones to the examination centre.
• Shoes or footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are also not allowed.

• Candidates are advised to quickly go through the CSIR NET 2024 exam pattern and syllabus with the marking scheme. There is a negative marking of 25 percent (33 percent for a few parts) for each wrong answer.
