Q:   How can I know my RRB ALP exam Centre?

A:

RRB ALP exam centre details are made available in admit card. Prior to that, the city intimation slip is released. Candidates can check which RRB ALP exam centres 2024 they have been allotted by entering their credentials in the login window. Candidates need to appear for the exam in the centre allotted to them. Candidates need to carry printed copy of their admit cards along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre.

Q:   Is RRB ALP exam tough?

A:

It is not tough to crack RRB ALP exam if you prepare well as per proper study routine. The tips and tricks to crack RRB ALP exam are given below:

Q:   What was the difficulty level of RRB ALP 2024 CBT 1 exam?

A:

The overall difficulty level of RRB ALP CBT 1 exam was moderate. The General Science section was Moderate. The Maths section was moderate. The General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness sections were easy to moderate. 

Vikas Verma said, "The overall paper of the first shift was difficult. In Reasoning, basic questions were asked. In Maths, questions were asked from height and distance, profit and loss, simplification, etc. The Current Affairs questions were easy and based on the events that took place in September-October 2024."

Naveen Srivastava said, "The Science questions were of Class 10 level. Normal questions were asked in Maths and if candidates had practiced well they can easily attempt the paper. There were no questions on Trigonometry in Maths."

Puspindra Verma said, "The overall exam paper was easy. In GS mostly questions were asked from Current Affairs. The Reasoning and Maths sections were moderate."

Q:   How to start RRB ALP preparation?

A:

To begin with RRB ALP preparation, candidates must refer to the exam pattern and syllabus. The exam pattern will help candidates to understand the overall structure of the exam. RRB ALP syllabus help candidates to know the topics from where questions are asked in the exam. Candidates must clear the concept of the topics given in the syllabus by going through good book. Candidates must attempt mock tests to improve speed and accuracy.

Q:   How is RRB ALP final merit list prepared?

A:

The final merit list of RRB ALP is prepared based on the following parameters:

  • Applicants should note that first stage CBT is qualifying in nature

  • The merit list of CBT 2 stage is determined on the basis of total marks secured by aspirants in CBT 1 results

  • Candidares are called for document verification process on the basis of their performance in Second Stage CBT

  • Candidates should note that the merit list of ALP results will be drawn by counting 70 epr cent marks of Part A of second stage CBT while 30 per cent to CBAT.

Q:   Is RRB ALP Group B or C?

A:

Assistant loco pilot comes under 'C' catagory posts. In Railway A & B catagories comes under officer catagory & C & D catagory are labourer/ workers catagory. RRB ALP salary ranges between INR 19,900 (excluding HRA, DA, etc.) to 35,000. Candidates are entitled to the following benefits:

  1. House Rent Allowance
  2. Dearness Allowance
  3. Transport Allowance
  4. Running Allowance (based on the kilometres travelled)
