Great college overall. Nice academics but bad hostel living conditions.
Placements: 90% placement rate. Core companies: Indian Unilever Company. Roles offered: Scientist. Majorly, students go into non-core areas including teaching, IT, and consulting. Some students go into research and academia too. CG matters while sitting for placement, as only students above a 7 CGPA are allowed to appear.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi facility. Good air-conditioned mess along with good food. Bad hostel living conditions, poor infrastructure, no air-conditioning. Washrooms are extremely dirty. Medical facilities are extremely good with free medical checkup and free medicine. Labs, classrooms, and the library are air-conditioned.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely knowledgeable and fluent in teaching. Courses are moderately relevant with wide topic coverage. Moderately difficult semester with quizzes, tutorials, and exams throughout the semester. The passing CGPA is 4, and the average CGPA is defined as 7.
Other: Chose the course due to interest. Good events, including Rendezvous.

Really good infrastructure, excellent place to explore in any field.
Placements: First of all, this is one of the most underrated branches of IIT Delhi. Students eagerly work under professors on projects like SURA projects and research and end up getting internships in the Khorana Scholars programme, at Monash University, Surat. Last-year batch students got foreign internships at Imperial College London, Kyoto University and more. There are some students who go abroad for M.Tech and Ph.D., rest are placed at the end of the final semester.
Infrastructure: My hostel has the best mess on the campus. Mess menu updates regularly 2 to 3 times a month. We get seasonal fruits and desserts and special lunch and dinner on occasion. We have a 24x7 hospital available inside the campus. Free Wi-Fi with speed up to 1gb/s (max). The library has a wide range of books and a very good place and atmosphere for studies.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They have excellent qualifications from the best colleges in the world. Professors always support research-oriented projects. Semester exams are moderately tough and one can easily get a good CGPA with decent attention to the syllabus. I am not sure about the passing percentage but I guess it's around 60%.

IIT Delhi: Pros and Cons.
Placements: In my course and other non-circuital courses, placements are very low. The average package is around 5-6 LPA. Hindustan Unilever is one of the companies recruiting students. Other pharmaceutical companies also take up students of this course. Internship percentage is also very low.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is well functioning. Labs are well-equipped and clean. Classrooms are large and spacious with smart boards and projectors equipped. The library has a very huge capacity and is air-conditioned. Though, the old hostels have become outdated and fragile. Otherwise, the mess facility is very fine, and sports equipment is there.
Faculty: The teachers are more than qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is just fine and are helpful for those who are seeking out help. This curriculum is very relevant and indeed makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are tougher than JEE Advanced.
Other: I chose this course as my rank allowed me to. Placements and internships in India are very much required to increase. Rendezvous is a fest which occurs annually and is the biggest cultural fest in North India.

Comprehensive learning and vibrant campus life at IIT Delhi.
Placements: This number could be 100%, but it’s not actually. However, there is really a good percentage of students who got placement. The highest placement goes up to 4 crores, and the lowest is 8 lakhs. Below this, our college does not allow companies to come. I actually don’t know any good company for my course, but almost every student can get an internship.
Infrastructure: Regarding hostel facilities, IIT Delhi provides a comfortable living experience with well-maintained rooms and Wi-Fi access all over campus. Each hostel has its dedicated mess, and while mess food might not be of five-star quality, it is decent. The college also has a hospital that provides immediate healthcare facilities and a branch of SBI bank.
Faculty: The faculty of biotechnology and biochemical is really good, no complaints for that, but there are lots of chemical courses that most of them are really irrelevant for us. The difficulty level of biotech courses is not that much, but the courses of chemical that we have to study with chemical engineering students are really difficult.
Other: I have an interest in biotechnology, that's why I chose this course. The best thing is it really comes with a decent level of placement opportunity, but I wish the course content that I have to study could be better.

Well, IIT life is just like enjoying and learning times ever in whole life.
Placements: Well, I'm currently in 1st year in biotechnology and biochemical branch. Well, as much as I know about my college and about my course is that almost 80% students are placed better in this field. And the average package is 25 Lacs per annum. Well, all top companies like Google, Microsoft all come here to offer a job.
Infrastructure: Well, here as in lab all the facilities were provided by the college that we need in lab and also it provides a guide session about our course that what should we do or not. Well, my hostel is Jwalamukhi and it provides too much facilities like cleaning facilities, playground, TV room, common room.
Faculty: Well, here the teachers were too qualified, too helpful and were always available for helping students, guiding us and also much of other things. Well, if you really attend classes regularly and study almost everyday for a few hours then the semester exam will become much easier.
Other: Well, I chose this course just because I want to go into the research field.
