The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) conducts examinations for Class 10 twice a year— March/April and October/November. It releases the time table for the examinations on its official website at nios.ac.in. The NIOS admissions usually take place in two cycles— Block I and Block II. The dates for admission for both blocks remain the same every year.
The NIOS 10th examinations are conducted in April for Block-I and in October for Block-II.
This year, the NIOS 10th examinations were cancelled in view of COVID-19 and the results were released on July 23 on the basis of alternate assessment criteria.
