Dating back to the 5th Century, renowned Philosopher such as Socrates, Plato and Aristotle gave their views and knowledge on life in the golden age of Philosophy. History of Philosophy is an important subject as it showed people ways how to question various possibilities about the life we lead and the world we live in, along with the circumstances of each action. How did Philosophers come up with questions and what were they trying to communicate or say? What led to arguments, and what conversations led to disagreement? The questions are endless, however, the answers are now scripted. From the 6th Century BCE – 529 CE, there were many focuses on areas such as Physics, Mathematics, Astronomy, and Biology. Questions were asked in such fields, which led to plenty of inventions, discoveries, and research work being done. In the History of Philosophy, students learn about Philosophers from various eras such as Ionian Philosophers (640-475 BCE), Pythagoreans (582 BCE to 5th Century), the Golden Age, the Roman Philosophy, the Early Christian Thought, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, Humanism, Platonism, and the list goes on.

Chose University/College: The first step is to search for colleges or universities which are offering courses in Geography. Check the fees, the seats offered, eligibility criteria which is set for the course.
Apply for Course: Proceed to apply for admission after getting to know the university offering the programme. Fill up the details as required and pay the application fee. The application forms are available for a limited period of time so the candidate is advised to know the details way in advance.
Mode of Admission: Universities and Colleges will either conduct entrance exams for admission or offer admission through merit. For postgraduate courses, the candidate will have to appear for an entrance exam.
